Chaos10Ox
Like the title says, do paladins really get a bonus to spells? It shows up on their character sheet but in the CLABPA01 to 04 files i see no spell that gives them this ability.Does anyone know how it's done? Link to comment
Mike1072
I believe paladins have a -2 bonus to all saving throws hardcoded into character generation and level-up. They use savewar.2da as a base, then have those values reduced by 2 (to a minimum of 0). The values are saved in the .cre files, so you can load up a save game and see them. Link to comment
lynx
Do you perhaps know if this is true for all the IE AD&D games? Link to comment
Echon
It also applies to Baldur's Gate - Tales of the Sword Coast. Link to comment
Green Knight
They do get the 2 point save bonus in IWD (on top of warrior base saves). Link to comment
lynx
Thanks, that's all then, at least as far as player characters go (no paladins in pst). Link to comment
