MacDuro
I have found that make run GemRB on Android devices for casual user is right now nearly impossible ... configuration it's not easy specially if you have a tablet with internal memory but not sdcard . When I install GemRB from markt it makes in hidden palce where it can not be found ... I imagine it's installed with the operative system in a hidden partition . In order to have to install Gemrb in a visible place you have to create an special directory ... and you have to guess it or just look around in thousand of forums because in the market place that part is missed from the instructions . I think this tool is great , BG2 Demo runs amazing on my Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 , but I'm unable to make it run with Icewind Dale , Planescape Torment or any other game (all originals of course , from that special box that Atari released with all them packed) ... I don'y know if the problem are my cfgs or a problem with instalation ... I'll open later a post to see if you guys can help to make it run , keep that great work guys and please , make clarify the ways to install GemRB on a tablet without SDcard and the way you have to edit the cfg ... Avenger
Well, 2 years ago i didn't even expect someone will port this to an Android or iPhone. The guy who does the Android port isn't part of the development team (the one who does it for iPhone is), so we are limited in responding fast about Android specific problems. If you are patient enough, you will be able to make it run with BG or Icewind Dale, though I recommend Heart of Winter (more resolution options). PST is probably not so well supported. lynx
the market version is preconfigured for the extra SD card. If you don't have it, that means you have to edit the paths in the config accordingly - check one of the sticky topics here. Link to comment

alx3apps
Current Git-master version (cecba72) - changes: http://gemrb.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=gemrb/gemrb;a=shortlog;h=cecba723a8b9aef012781d6fa446ee496bc80acd - dowload: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gemrb/files/Other%20Binaries/android/cecba72/ Breaking news: this version includes logging to file. Log file path is hardcoded to /sdcard/app-data/net.sourceforge.gemrb/GemRB.log. Log will be rewritten on every GemRB startup. You don't need to reproduce problems to catch logs by aLogCat anymore, just report this file. If you want, you can disable it creating empty directory GemRB.log on the path above. ALogCat logs work as previous. Link to comment
alx3apps
Some news for weekly builds: - log file GemRB.log is not hardcoded any more, it will be written in game directory - gemrb prevents device from sleep now, screen will be dim but never off while gemrb is in foreground. New WAKE_LOCK permission is required. Yesterday's Git-master version (7c7cffa): - changes: http://gemrb.git.sou...5a13cda9acc0f67 - dowload: http://sourceforge.n...ndroid/7c7cffa/ Link to comment
lynx
just so people don't forget - weekly builds are still being uploaded (one was just now) and there's also work to make an android slave for the buildbot, which will enable testing of individual revisions. Link to comment
