Incantatar Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 At the moment both are somewhat incompatible, so we should list the necessary modifications to the ini files. Few people know about it i guess. I assume a full SR install. default_core.ini -change Dispel Formula Fix=1 to =0 (See here http://forums.gibber...ndpost&p=186681) -change Scrollable Mage Spellbook=1 and Scrollable Priest Spellbook=1 both to =0 these here are redundant and can be changed to 0 Awaken Fix=1 Blindness Fix=1 should probably be set to 0 (?) Configurable Damage Effect Bypasses Mirror Images=1 Configurable Magical Item Dispel Behaviour=1 Casting Fixes=1
Demivrgvs Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 I looked into this ages ago, but I don't remember anymore sorry. I can look into it again if I find some time, but if you're up to it I can only thank you. This can indeed be much useful!
i30817 Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Why don't you just don't use Taimon's Hack if you find tobex installed? I'd prefer to use tobex whenever i can.
DavidW Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 If you install ToBEx via SCS, this should (I hope) happen automatically.
Ascension64 Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 change Dispel Formula Fix=1 to =0 (See here http://forums.gibber...ndpost&p=186681)-change Scrollable Mage Spellbook=1 and Scrollable Priest Spellbook=1 both to =0 I second these clashes. It's all stated in TobEx_ini.txt. these here are redundant and can be changed to 0Awaken Fix=1 Blindness Fix=1 should probably be set to 0 (?) Configurable Damage Effect Bypasses Mirror Images=1 Configurable Magical Item Dispel Behaviour=1 Unless identical, and therefore redundant as stated, TobEx will override any SR changes in regards to these hacks, so it doesn't quite matter whether 0 or 1. Casting Fixes=1This is separate entirely from SR, so should stay 1.
Incantatar Posted December 26, 2011 Author Posted December 26, 2011 If you install ToBEx via SCS, this should (I hope) happen automatically. I wasn't aware of that - cool!
Incantatar Posted December 26, 2011 Author Posted December 26, 2011 A strange bug that i experience very often now with TobEx, SR and SCS2: Killed enemies walk around without their equipment and are unkillable. They disappear after a while.
Ascension64 Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 There is a current issue with TobEx when enemies die of poison, in that STATE_DEAD isn't set properly and so they remain alive. It is fixed and you will see a new TobEx release very soon.
