GoG versions modding

Hi,

 

I am considering buying Icewind Dale I from gog.com (50% till tomorrow). Are their versions of the infinity engine games fully compatible with the fix- and tweakpacks ? I have played Baldur's Gate (not from gog) before and the mods you do are very nice and useful

Very probably - i.e. I don't think we can guarantee anything, but it would be very weird if they weren't. The GoG releases remove the disk check and patch to the latest version, but otherwise they're pretty much unchanged.

I use the Atari Collection (http://se.gamersgate.com/DDB-DBAMC/dungeons-and-dragons-anthology-the-master-collection?caff=198081) for playing, and it functions without a hitch. Just yesterday I did the IWD-in-BG2 conversion, complete with Tweaks, UB and Widescreen. Can't vouch for GOG, but I'd guess it's ok.
