Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition

Now, finally the developers have the consent of Wizards of the Coast for a new release of Baldur's Gate, there is already much activity in reporting bugs and requesting new features on http://forum.baldursgate.com/

And the devs would love to build in stuff like the gibberlings 3 fixpack right away - but they can't do this unless the creators of the fixpack (same goes for the tweakpack and other mods) clearly signal their consent too. (See also http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/comment/6853/#Comment_6853)

Is there a way to contact all the mod creators here and ask them, if they would like to have their mod implemented in BG:EE?

Like a multi-message sent by the admin?

Speaking for BG1 Tweaks, only a very few components might be reasonable. The rest, the vast majority, should be at the player's discretion, thus a "tweak pack" is preferrable. And once I check out why one of my components isn't working now, I'll have a v4 ready.

As for the fixes, that is something plainab will have to answer.

The current version is designed for BG1 only, not BG2-engine versions i.e. Tutu/BGT/BGEE. We would have to develop a version specifically for other engines, and for that, we would need to see the game first to determine what needs fixing and/or work rather closely with the developers to implement existing fixes. Some of us are in touch with them already but so far the discussion has been about other things like animations... AFAIK no one's asked about BG1 fixes as yet.
