Same sex romance options?

I seem to remember from a long way back that there was no same sex romance option in this mod, but I couldn't find reference to this in this forum or in the FAQ, am I right, and if so, will it change in the future?

Content-wise, BG1 NPC mod is finished, so these options will probably not appear(not available now, either, no).

 

However, if you visit Spellhold Studios forums, Lava seeks help in proofreading and voicing for his BG1 male barbarian NPC with a same-sex romance(probably a beta version is not far behind), and I believe there is a lady NPC who likes girls, maybe even more than one(with Tempest's Valerie, if I'm not mistaken, it's a friendship with a healthy dose of flirting - the deeper part is for BG2, and Kaeloree, again, if I'm not mistaken, wrote a romance for both genders in his expansion).

I liked Neera's dialogues, myself - she's got a fine, sunny personality.

I never playtested her, though, so can't say anything about the bugs.

Yep, working on something There's a small delay as the one who's going to voice him seems to be a bit busy. The mod got one fast proofreading run, but as far as I know, there are still some mistakes. If I get no messages from the one who did the first run, I will ask someone else When voicing is here, I'll release the beta - with or without 2nd proofreading. I hope to find more people eager to help when they see the BETA so the v1 will include more text corrections. Unless there's an even bigger delay on the voicing - if that happens, will ask someone to check the dialogues again while the soundset is being recorded.

Correct on the Valerie note. Her friendship track in BG1 includes [potentially - it's strictly optional] quite a bit of flirting with a female PC who meets her requirements, but it only evolves into a serious relationship in BG2.

Cool. I eagerly await your project. I'd volunteer to help, but my knowledge of modding is none-existent... If, however, proofreading requires only going through texts and correcting grammatical, syntactical or stylistic errors, I have some experience in that.

BG2 Tweak Pack has the ability to disable gender checks for romance... as well as race, reputation, and monogamy restrictions. I am not sure if it will work with the custom romances introduced in this mod though.

BG2 Tweaks component works on BG2 Anomen/Aerie/Jaheira/Viconia, removing all race/gender restrictions, so, no, it won't work on BG1 NPC.
