Prerelease Installation Error

Hello

 

It seems that I'm unable to install v21 prerelease 2014-08-06 from GitHub to a clean ToB EasyTutu installation. When I try to install the mod, I always get the following error message:

 

ERROR: cannot convert BGTBEDWINState0 or %BGTBEDWINState0% to an integer

 

If anyone could help me with that I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Found the problem, I think.

 

The file g3_tutu_cpmvars.tpa in bg1npc/lib has a GAME_IS check for ~tutu~, but it needs to be for ~tutu tutu_totsc~.

Replace the file g3_tutu_cpmvars.tpa in the bg1npc/lib directory with the file I've uploaded below:

Now the installation started properly but I encountered to yet another error:

 

[bg1npc/core/baf/x#mag14d.baf] PARSE ERROR at line 18 column 8-48 Near Text: )
unknown object CLASS specifier [LONG_BOW]

 

After googling a bit I checked, and while I have the line LONG_BOW in my BG2 installation's CLASS.IDS, in my Tutu installation I just have two MAGE_ALL lines. I assume I can just change every LONG_BOW in the mod's baf files into MAGE_ALL?

Yes, that should be fine. In BG2 and BGEE, LONG_BOW and MAGE_ALL share the same ID in the CLASS.IDS file. Didn't realize Tutu got rid of the LONG_BOW entry in CLASS.IDS.

 

There are other files that have a LONG_BOW reference in them. You'll need to search & replace in x#prs10b.baf in bg1npc/core/baf and x#davidx.baf in bg1npc/phase2/baf.

Hi!

I installed last prerelease version 20140816a on BGT and I noticed that NEWMERCH2.dlg didn't get biffed by genbiff and stayed in override.

After decompiling dlg, header said that it contains non-trivial WEIGHTs.

I don't know is this a bug in weidu or in dialog and maybe game translates everything without problem, but I just wanted to report it.
