(I usually play with rotating NPCs.) She doesn't need to be present throughout the game for her talks and story to unfold. She has some area-based dialogues, but it's not needed to advance her story - just opportunities to learn a little about her. Although, I will say her story continues after Chapter 5. After the event in Chapter 6, you could technically drop her off somewhere again, rotate her with other NPCs, and then, pick her up whenever you head to Suldanessellar. Quote Link to comment
