Add Map Notes

This component will add map notes to many areas throughout the game, including some wilderness areas. This process is done interactively, so no areas are overwritten.

Thanks,CamDawg! Your explicit example made it very clear. But I am wondering: do the Map Notes appear as the fog-of-war is removed or are immediately visible upon entering a new, unexplored area ? Thanks

 

@Kish: I read the description but I still didn't understand what it meant before CamDawg showed it...

They only show up once the fog of war is cleared (I cheated and used ExploreArea() to generate the screenshots). The map notes are designed to be non-spoilers--my original list of notes was generated off the "info points" in areas, like the signs outside of Inns that tell you what the name is when you click on them. I added a few additional notes for obvious terrain features like caves or the lighthouse on the coast.
