Hi,

So I didn't edit the dw_talents.ini because I have no interest in playing a drow in a Bg campaign, but was it actually necessary for Viconia to be one ? It's not gamebreaking or anything, but it's bothering me to see her labelled as a moon elf when I'm on her character screen. Can I assign the subrace to her without having to reinstall everything ?

In my mod configuration, and the quick test I made right now (and I don't have Drow installed) she's just referred as "Elf" (in SoD), until she is manually leveled up once, then she becomes Drow Elf. Baeloth was set correctly but he started off at level 7 instead of level 0, so something is probably broken somewhere.

Other things that I noted (and apologies for reporting bugs all over the place) is that her hitpoints are incorrect. First of all, all the joinable characters start with 10 hitpoints regardless of stats EDIT: Neera started out with 16 hitpoints, same issue as Viconia too. So I leveled up Viconia once and now she was 17 hitpoints. At level 1, supposedly she should have 8 hitpoints.

Does she still have extra hit points once you've finished levelling her? It's intended behavior that she has too many until she's finished levelling; that's related to certain BG encounters where you fight the NPC before they join.

Incidentally, the drow subrace is installed whatever you do, it's just removed from the PC choice list unless you turn on the ini.

OK, but there is something definitely off in some cases though. Neera for example ends up at level 8 (90K XP), and her hit points became 53. It should be 8 times 4, right? She has 14 CON.

Safana for example leveled up to 8 (70K XP) and her hitpoints adjusted to 48 as expected.

Oh, ok. Well I have a lot of mods, so I might have messed something up (some pnj have actually changed gender, so...).

Anyway, I used the ToF b3, and I used the 'customise/class kit' before levelling her up (because she gains a lot of xp if I don't, she reaches lvl3 and my party is lvl1).

Ok, I've made a new install with the beta5 (still bgee/sod), completely new game but she is a wild elf. I tried a new game, then she was a sun elf. So I went to pick up Kivan and consoled!Coran and Xan, and the same, sometimes wild elves, sometimes sun elves. Is it because of the eefixpack ? I'll try an install without it because I really don't know why the others mods would mess this up.

OK, nevermind, it happened to me too. It seems to happen in BGEE, not in SoD.

I got Viconia at her usual spot. My character was at level 6. I leveled her up to level 4 (still not completed the process from NPC management stuff), and it does show as Moon Elf). She remains a Moon Elf at the end, without any drow characteristics (no magic resistance, keeps her vanilla magic resistance, no blindness to light).

Hopefully that helps. Most of my tests in BGEE didn't involve progressing through the game, so I missed any bugs related to NPCs. Might take a stroll to see if there are issues with other joinable characters.

Ok, yes I checked and the eefixpack has nothing to do with it. It's the 'Improved NPC customisation and management' component, without it Viconia is a Drow, Xan a Moon Elf, Kivan a Wood Elf. When they start lvl 0 with the component, it messes up their race.
