Icewind dale 2

Hi there

I have a steam deck and been using lutris. Everything has been great until I try Icewind dale 2. Ive downloaded the gog version and it open the cinematic but when it comes to playing every button click is 5-30 wait I deleted that and tried the gemrb version and it was like t even open on lutris. Just says playing the stops straight away. Is there something I’m doing wrong. Any one know a fix?  Thanks

For the original, I think you need a 32-bit prefix and to set a way older windows version.

For GemRB, I hope you're not having a stroke, but you don't need to run it through Lutris. Follow the instructions on our website.

Btw is GemRB would work with IWD2EE (especially on linux)?

Yes and no. You wouldn't get any of their engine changes, just ours. Any data changes and data-based rule tweaks would work (like any other mod).

Thanks for the replies guys. Would you have a link to the site at all ? I’ll try and follow the instructions to install from there. Would using it on a steam deck have any issues do you think ?
