I can't find axe proficiency?

I am unable to choose axes during character creation. However, I can find axes with Near Infinity. The proficiency does not show up under character info if I edit it in, but it does reduce thac0, so I guess it's working somehow.

Are you editing the effects of the creature in Near Infinity or their "proficiency" ... as the later ones are in the game technically, but the BG2 game has ALWAYS used the effect system as it's actual proficiency'es.

under CRE, there are proficiencies listed as 233. A bunch of them, axes are not among them, but I changed one of them to axes. I cannot find axes during character creation either. Can you?

I can add, that axe weapon proficiency is available in my EET installation for character generation. Therefore it is not a principle EET problem. Maybe you have some other tweaks installed as well ?

Weird, it's the same proficiencyaxe - 92 that I find with near infinity. It just won't show up during character creation, nor ingame, but it does work. It might be "hammers" mod that somehow screw up? I can't think of anything else, not that really know how these mods work. 

 

Anyway, at least it's not an error with the ToF mod, but on my side, that's good. Thanks for confirming.
