ClassicalPianist999
I'm not that skilled with technology, and I'd really appreciate it if someone could walk me through how to use Weidu for my Mac and install the Tweaks Anthology and P&P Celestials mods. Quote Link to comment
Xiaolong
Hello, you can check out this guide. Quote Link to comment
ClassicalPianist999
Thanks so much. One more question: how do I use ModMerge? I have Siege of Dragonspear installed. Edited May 10 by ClassicalPianist999 misspelling Quote Link to comment
argent77
Modmerge is outdated. Use DLC Merger instead. It can be installed like a regular mod. Just make sure to install it as the very first mod, because every other mod depends on it. Quote Link to comment
Xiaolong
You may also use the Mac Weidu Launcher for easier mod installation. Quote Link to comment
ClassicalPianist999
Thanks, I'll do that. One more thing: do I need to install the mods into BGEE, SOD and BG2EE separately? I just want to make sure I'm doing this right. Quote Link to comment
ClassicalPianist999
Mac Weidu Launcher isn't opening. It gives me some message about translocation and then closes. My Mac was made in 2019, and has a 1.4 GH Intel Quad Core processor, and Intel Iris Plus graphics card, 8 GB RAM, and Ventura 13.4. Is this not enough for Mac Weidu? BG2EE is a separate game and has to be modded separately. Quote Link to comment
ClassicalPianist999
So I've gathered that you have to install the Weidu mod before any of the other mods. Is that correct? Quote Link to comment

No, weidu is not a mod, but a way to distribute and install the mods. All mods already come with a weidu installer integrated. Quote Link to comment
ClassicalPianist999
Thanks so much. I know nothing about this stuff, so this has been very helpful. Quote Link to comment
Jarno Mikkola
Well, in PC's the "weidu" is actually, the weidu.exe just renamed as setup-modname.exe, so that it takes orders from the setup-modname.tp2 file and a small library of self excecuting commands it was build from. The .tp2 -file, itself is a command-line input -file that gives orders to the ordered file(.exe). On mac's, weidu just a mac compiled similar thing. .. basically. Quote Link to comment
