Lemernis
Apologies that the following question isn't custom mod-specific, but I figured modders would likely be able to answer this question: How do I extract BG1's 'Default' male soundset so that I can rename it and add it to my BG2 sounds folder? When I open BG1's sounds folder I'm not finding a set of files named 'Default'. Where do I find these sound files in the BG directory? (I have DLTCEP installed, and should that application be required, if anyone can walk me through how to do this 'twould be greatly appreciated. tnx!) Or has someone out there in the fan community already ripped them for BG2 (and IWD too for that matter) players to use, and if so can provide a link? Link to comment
BigRob
Unless I'm completey mistaken, the basic soundsets are sitting in the BGI "Sounds" directory. So I guess all you have to do is pick the right one and copy it over. Link to comment
Lemernis
The 'Default' soundset does not appear there. I noticed BG2's default soundset doesn't appear in the BG2 sounds folder either. Link to comment
Avenger
Probably default is race dependent and uses another named soundset. You can check this by setting default for a dwarf or an elf, if you hear different sound, then it is proven Link to comment
BigRob
I think "Default" is just one of the soundsets inside. You can copy over the files to BGII and see for yourself. If not... it's got me stumped. Link to comment
