Install is being odd

The installer is saying I don't have ToB installed when I know I do.

If anyone can help, I'd be most grateful.

Try opening up setup-kivan.tp2 in your BG2 folder and replacing this:

 

REQUIRE_PREDICATE FILE_EXISTS_IN_GAME ~saradush.mve~ ~ToB Is Required to Install This Component~

 

with this:

 

REQUIRE_PREDICATE FILE_EXISTS_IN_GAME ~mel01.cre~ ~ToB Is Required to Install This Component~

 

As an aside, do you have a full install?

And you are using (or trying to use) V7, not the slightly older V6, right?

The warning message is particular to V7, V6 simply blithfully did not install ToB portion when it did not see the file that was checked.
