Opcode #96 - Stat: Level Change

Unfortunately this opcode only works to some extent.


THAC0 and saving throws are not affected by the increase. Warriors do get their additional ½ attack per round at 7th and 13th level. The turn undead level of clerics and the thieving skills of thieves remain the same. Spellcasters do cast their spells at the new level but the number of spells they can memorise and the spell levels they have access to do not change. Only the first class of multi-classed characters increase. All characters gain 2 HPs/level this way regardless of class, except for multi-classed characters who only gain 1 HP/level. Worst of all, if the character gains xp while under this effect and levels up, the bonus levels become permanent.
