  1. Right, so here we have a backup of the Gibberlings download section. It's a tad rough at the moment, but I'll take care of that eventually by adding tags next to each mod to specify with what exactly it is compatible. Something along the lines of "Mod X [Original/EE/BGT/EET]" and so on. Gonna scour the forums now for any mods that aren't in the downloads section. After that I'll venture into the most wretched hive of villainy and scum...the beamdog forums... It's gonna be rough, but I'll survive somehow. After that, I'll just wait for the SHS forums to come back online and we'll get to the real deal. Don't worry, we're all in this together and we'll make it, trust me. Oh and if anyone's worrying that the link will go down or the mega will be taken out, worry not brothers and sisters, I'll handle it lickety-split and it shall return, like a phoenix rising from Arizona! Golly gee willikers, I sure do hope them coppers don't start coming after me now after this most heinous act of cyber burglary!
  2. Legal way? Are you trying to say that someone taking a mod, uploading on a stable site and giving credit to its author and its host site would count as some sort illegal act that any sane human being would ever be bothered to care about? That's absolutely insane and quite frankly a hilarious thought. Also about the note part, if it were files named, for example, "AUTHOR NAME: X" and another one right under it named "SITE: Y", they'd pretty hard to not notice and automatically read as you glance over 'em. Same for a disclaimer on probably every page of the repository that could go something along the lines of "USE THIS REPOSITORY ONLY AS A LAST RESORT AS MODS MIGHT BE OUT OF DATE!" They can attract one's attention quite easily. Especially if placed on every single page. But yea, anyway, it's pretty obvious that this talk isn't going anywhere and that it's completely pointless when people think uploading their mods on other sites, the only reason being to act as a backup in case of their host sites going down, is some horrendous illegal act.
  3. It's not as if the backup can't have huge disclaimers where it states that it might not always be up to date and downloading mods from it should only be as a last resort, but whatever floats your boat.
  4. Well obviously a mod repository's purpose isn't to make the main site the mod is hosted on irrelevant. Its only purpose would be to serve as a backup when all other main sources are offline or just unavailable.
  5. Well, it wouldn't be a repository where mods just get uploaded and forgotten about. It could have a few people taking care of it and keeping them up to date. Pretty sure you can have a mega account that's handled by multiple people with ease. It also wouldn't be anything along the lines of taking the mod, modifying it, changing it or turning it into the exact opposite. It'd be just having it as a backup on a stable site where it can be easily downloaded, obviously with the modder's name and the mod's home site right next to it.
  6. How horrifying. But surely modders would want as many people as possible to be able to have access to their mods and not go through all sorts of spiritual journeys and esoteric adventures online to be able to obtain them, right?
  7. What would you lot think of a mega.nz repository with all the SHS and even gibberlings mods backed up there once SHS back online?
  8. Almateria's IWD2 Fixpack. Tried looking for it on other sites, but had no luck.
  9. Are there any backups for the files on shsforums? Wanted to download a mod from there, but the waybackmachine was of no use in the end.
  10. Well, I tried it out without the Banter Accelerator and it still happened. Got the same dialogue again after spamming ctrl + I multiple times.
  11. Before doing that, I spammed ctrl + I to force banter. I spammed it a boatload multiple times and at the end of each time it would always be the same Imoen dialogue. Would this rule out the TOB Banter Accelerator since there were no other dialogues repeating and this was the only one? Shouldn't there be a script/setting/whatever to make sure it happens only once?
  12. In ToB content, Imoen keeps on repeating her dialogue about almost jumping at the player's throat after combat and about slowly becoming the reaper. Had it happen multiple times, even in the actual Throne of Blood. Think this might be happening because I also have the TOB Banter Accelerator from BG2 Banterpack.
  13. By the way, Balthazar used to crash the game for me even during the first encounter with him in his temple. There it was much easier to deal with though. Just removed the balth files from the overrides and then the fight went on normally without crashes.
  14. Thank you, it all worked and I'm at the final fight, but have run into another issue, this time, I believe, caused by Ascension with all the improved battles. Balthazar keeps crashing the game over and over again. He'll either throw a few attacks here and there and them wham, the game dies instantly. Only way I can imagine going past this issue is by just cheating and using ctrl+Y on him. Tried to just remove his files from the override folder, the finbalth stuff, but then that just makes Amelyssan impossible to defeat since all the members of the five need to be defeated.
  15. So, any idea what's going on? Why's it down?
  16. So after going to the grove again by spawning that PPGUY01.cre and taking care of business there, the Solar appeared and did the final challenge. Now I simply cannot advance at all anymore since destroying the Pocket Plane and moving on the Throne isn't an option. Spawning PPGUY01.cre doesn't really do much anymore. My character turns to talk in its direction, but there's no dialogue. Trying to exit normally, again, teleports me to the grove and now I can't even leave the grove as there are no exit points on it.
  17. Is there any small chance that this might, one day, be ported over to the original BGT?
  18. Oh, alright. Thanks a boatload anyway for helping.
  19. I'm afraid to say that it's still not fixed. Same outcome with the new file as well.
  20. With your fix I'm still not getting dialogues on my current save when trying to exit the Pocket Plane. Still have to spawn that creature. I guess this fix only works on new games, not ones already in progress?
  21. Oh wow, it worked! I'm in the grove right now. Thanks a lot! Any idea if there's a way to prevent this issue from happening on further playthroughs? Is there a script that should be deleted, modified or have something done about it?
  22. When trying to exit the Pocket Plane? I don't get any dialogues. It just sends me back to the zone where I teleported from.
