  1. I am having the exact same issue. Was really hoping to finish Throne of Bhaal for the first time before BG3, and now can't figure out how to finish. My journal just says "%solarjournal%" instead of a proper journal entry, there is no fifth encounter with the Solar, and I can't get to the forest of tethir.
  2. Sorry for making a new thread, but couldn't find any others that covered this. I've acquired the following drinks: -Wilhelmus the Keg -Bubbling Brew of Malochilis -Vibrissa -Flask of Arabellan Dry -Dalin's White Grappa I gather that one of these is from a different mod and thus not the drink I'm looking for. The helpers in the Mithrest Inn have no clues for me, and Drini has nothing to say other than asking if I have them all. What am I missing? Any pointers on where to find it? Thanks much!
  3. Thanks! I'm sure others in future playthroughs will appreciate the cure spells
  4. I mean, the good news is it's not an emergency, it just means a spell for my shaman isn't nearly as good as I thought it was, haha. Nothing actually broken
  5. I don't! Just went line-by-line for everything in the load order after Spell Revisions, the only things I can even potentially think might affect things: SCS - Include arcane/divine spells from Icewind Dale (but I don't think this overwrites creature's spellbooks?) SCS - smarter sirines and dryads (but this should just change their AI, no their spellbook?) Literally nothing after spell revisions other than that that mentions spells or spell tables. I totally beliee you that this is a mod conflict and not a bug, I just cannot figure it out. Here's my load order for reference (not that I feel entitled to anyone looking through this ridiculous thing!). Install Sequence 2e.csv
  6. So some modules include multiple sub-modules, and some of these you actually want to put in different places in the install order. The only way to do this that I can figure out is to set it up in a spreadsheet program (excel, google sheets, etc) and drag them around. Project Infinity will generate a spreadsheet, so if you already have your install order set up in Project Infinity, you can export that to a spreadsheet, make the necessary changes, and then import it back to Project Infinity. Normally you won't have to do this, but for Cahir's run, he specifically wanted to take a part of EET (the experience modifier) and put it last in the load order, so that he could change it later without messing up other mods/his saves. So he had to drag that part of EET all the way to the bottom, and that's why it's listed last in the load order in his log. I'm happy to share my load order with you, but know that it has a few minor bugs (some added spells not having icons, for instance) and thus I can't assure you it's the ideal way. But all the portraits work, at least
  7. So I'm having a very specific bug, which I originally thought was a result of another mod overwriting Spell Revisions, but as far as I can tell I have nothing else modifying them. When I cast Summon Woodland Beings, the hamanymphs have four castable spells: entangle, hold person, dire charm, and dimension door. But the readme suggests they should be able to cast other spells, including cure light wounds. They are being summoned by a Level 10 Shaman, if that matters. Happy to provide any logs or files that might be helpful if this is unintended!
  8. Didn't try that (didn't know about that command and now wonder how I got through Baldur's Gate without it, haha!) but happy to pick him up in the first camp. Thanks!
  9. Edit: not sure why the above is marked as a spoiler, but can't figure out how to remove spoilers in the editor here (using the spoiler button just creates nested spoiler boxes). Sorry!
  10. That did the trick! Thanks again for your help.
  11. So I got the Edwin-Minsc "shaggy dog story" dialog, and absolutely adored it so much I wanted to screenshot it - but to do that, I needed BG running in a window. I loaded a save right before the banter started, not realizing that the banter timer is independent of the save (I guess?), and I missed most of the remainder is there any way for me to see a transcript of it or otherwise manually trigger than conversation again? Thanks much, love this mod.
  12. That was it! For some reason I thought turning in evidence to him would undermine Brage. Thanks for the help!
  13. Gotcha! I hadn't explored that yet. I encountered him, fought him, got (and read) the letter on his body, and got (and identified) brage's sword. However, the quest only partially advanced in the journal - it says that I should search his body for evidence, even though I already did. Talking to Braga and the Priest of Helm gives no dialog options, even though I have the letter, Brage's sword, and the Berserking Sword in my inventory. It's worth noting that I have the Brage's Redemption mod installed, but it was after in the load order as instructed! Let me know if it's helpful to provide any logs.
  14. This is PROBABLY not a bug, but I am absolutely stumped on the Brage's Sword quest. I got to the part where the seller of cursed potions points me to a merchant who likes the black lotus tent; I've been in there (and out of there) and not found him in that area, nor elsewhere in the carnival, nor in various areas "west of town" (which is where the NPC says he went). Haven't combed every square inch of the game so I may just be missing him, or he spawned somewhere I'm already done exploring. Any hints?
  15. Here's garricks response when he's in party (screenshot 1) and out of party (screenshot 2). I manually used the mouth icon for both of these. "Letter from a fan" and the ruby ring are both in my inventory, and I've been able to deliver letters to other characters fine, so the quest is otherwise working!
  16. Sorry, to be clear, that's absolutely what I'm doing. Will post a screenshot of my dialog options as soon as my reinstall finishes!
  17. I absolutely would have, but I missed that quest on my way to Beregost. I have tried giving him the letter both in and out of the party; it didn't work, and I assumed what had happened was I accidentally sold the ring. But I bought it back and there was still no option, so that wasn't the issue (unless the ring somehow loses its "quest item status" when sold).
  18. Oh man. I'm unreasonably impatient and already started installing the BG2 one so hey, that's cool, I like that design as well Understand why you'd assume the modder would actually know what these gmaes look like, I just have a truly terrible visual memory and it's been about 14 years since my last play Thanks for all your work!
  19. Okay, good news: I had to do a fresh install for other reasons, so while I was at it, I removed a few EEUI tweaks (progress bar tweaks, transparent sidebars) and that seems to have fixed the issue - my guess is transparent sidebars was intefering. Bad news: I assumed that the screenshots were aligned to the downlaod order, so that the middle option was SoD (listed 2nd out of 3). But apparently SoD is the third picture (black style), not the second (blue-and-gold) like I thought. Before I do another fresh install from scratch, can we confirm which one is the blue-and-gold one? Is that BG2? (Note: I'm colorblind, so if those colors are not blue/gold, please excuse the error)
  20. So in the Messenger 2, I have to deliver a letter & ring to Garrick, but it appears to be impossible, since I'm using another mod (BG1 NPC, I think) that lets the player "talk" to Garrick, and that dialog appears to override the dialog necessarily to give him the letter. I love the quest and would love to be able to finish it when I deliver all of the other letters; is there any way to advance the quest via command console and tell it I delivered the letter to Garrick? Thanks much
  21. Here's my log! Sorry, didn't realize that would be helpful. WeiDU.log
  22. As an update: I just went with the BG1 skin (if I can't switch as the games progress, that's fine). It succcesfully installed, and yet it isn't actually show up in the game proper. I don't have any other UI overhauls, so not sure what the issue is.
  23. @Mordekaie To check his install order, you actually want to download the text file (weidu log) at the bottom of his post - the actual posts contents do NOT list in install order. In the install order file, PPE is before The Picture Standard. (Also, your posts here/elsewhere have helped me a lot in figuring this out, thank you!) Note also that a few modules are "broken up" in install order - project infinity doesn't support this via the drag-and-drop interface, you have to expert to a spreadsheet, move the row around yourself, then re-import.
  24. @lefreut This mod looks awesome! I'm doing my first BG playthrough in over a decade (so first time with EE and using most of these mods). I'm doing EET, but I also love the idea of UI progression over the course of the games. I'm using Project Infinity to try to do my install and setup. The thing I'm a little confused about: if I wanted to achive UI progression (start with BG1 UI, switch to SoD UI when I hit that content, etc) how would I do this? I get the sense that I can't install all the skins simultaneously. Do I need to manually "switch" (uninstall/reinstall some stuff) when I hit SoD? Do I need to install them outside of Project Infinity? Any advice would be appreciated :)
