  1. @129510 = ~This component is not compatible with BG1-style proficiencies.~

    About this string, is it like the BG2-Tweak-Pack component?

    If it's the case, here is the french translation:

    @110110 = ~magicien~

    @110111 = ~sorcière~

    @129510 = ~Ce composant est incompatible avec le systeme des competences martiales, Style BG1.~

    @200006 = ~Autoriser la maitrise des armes aux guerriers multiclasses ?~

    @200017 = ~Autoriser aux clercs/voleurs une etoile dans n'importe quel type d'arme permis a un voleur ?~

    @200018 = ~Autoriser aux clercs/rodeurs deux etoiles dans n'importe quel type d'arme permis a un rodeur ?~

    @200019 = ~Autoriser aux guerriers/clercs deux etoiles dans n'importe quel type d'arme permis a un guerrier ?~

    @200027 = ~Pressez 0 puis Entree pour n'effectuer aucun changement, 1 pour l'appliquer a toutes les armes, 2 pour seulement les epees longues et les arcs longs, ou 3 pour les epees longues uniquement.~

    @200028 = ~Pressez 0 puis Entree pour n'effectuer aucun changement, 1 pour selectionner la maitrise (3 etoiles), 2 pour selectionner la haute maitrise (4 etoiles), ou 3 pour selectionnerla grande maitrise (5 etoiles).~

    @200029 = ~Pressez 0 puis Entree pour n'effectuer aucun changement, 1 pour l'appliquer a toutes les armes de voleur, 2 pour seulement les epees courtes et les dagues, ou 3 pour les dagues uniquement.~

    @200030 = ~Pressez 0 puis Entree pour n'effectuer aucun changement, 1 pour l'appliquer a toutes les armes, ou 2 pour les haches uniquement.~

    @200031 = ~Autoriser aux guerriers/mages/clercs deux etoiles dans n'importe quel type d'arme permis a un guerrier ?~

    @200032 = ~Pressez 0 puis Entree pour n'effectuer aucun changement, 1 pour l'appliquer a toutes les armes, ou 2 pour les dagues uniquement.~

    @200033 = ~Autoriser aux clercs/mages une etoile dans n'importe quel type d'arme permis a un mage ?~

    @200034 = ~Pressez 0 puis Entree pour n'effectuer aucun changement, 1 pour l'appliquer aux dagues et aux flechettes, ou 2 pour les dagues uniquement.~

    @200035 = ~Autoriser la maitrise des armes de melee aux barbares ?~

    Besides, there is a small change about the last strings you sent me:

    @-1036 = "Saute le GROUPE ["

    @-1037 = "] pour cause d'absence des pre-requis."

  2. Here it is:

    @-1025= "] ?

    [R]einstaller, co[N]server, spprimer, [Q]uitter ou choisir un parmi :"

    @-1026= "] ?

    [N]e pas installer, [Q]uitter ou choisir un parmi :"

    @-1027= " (installe actuellement)"

    @-1028= "Souhaitez-vous afficher les composants de ["

    @-1029= "] ?

    [Y]Oui, [N]on? "

    @-1030= "] ?

    choisir un parmi :"

    @-1031= "] ?

    [R]einstaller, co[N]server, [Q]uitter ou choisir un parmi :"

    @-1032= "INSTALLATION ECHOUEE A CAUSE D'ERREURS"

    @-1033= "INSTALLATION AVEC DES ALERTES "

    @-1034= "Souhaitez-vous afficher les instructions (ReadMe) ? [Y]Oui [N]on"

    @-1035= "Dans la langue"

    @110850 = ~points restants~

    @129550 = ~Classic Adventures installe : non pertinent~

    -------------------------------

    About strings which are not traified, Isaya pointed out some suggestions in the txt file "Ameliorations tp2"; I don't know if you have it so here it is:

    The item usability patch is not relying on tra files but on checking the language and having the texts to patch or replace with directly in the TP2 file.

    In order for the French part to work, the code relative to French language shall be moved out from comments to the effective part of the installation process.

    I also suggest updating the current code to what follows, in order to better match the strings to search and replace:

    ACTION_IF (~%LANGUAGE%~ STRING_EQUAL_CASE ~FRENCH~) THEN BEGIN
      OUTER_SPRINT ~unusability_match~ ~\(Non utilisable par\|Inutilisable par\|Utilisable uniquement par\)~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~NOT_USABLE_BY~	 ~Non utilisable par :~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~NEUTRAL_OR_EVIL~   ~Tout personnage mauvais ou neutre~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~DRUID~			 ~Druide~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~CLERIC~			~Clerc~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~THIEF~			 ~Voleur~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~FIGHTER~		   ~Guerrier~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~MAGE~			  ~Mage~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~BARD~			  ~Barde~

    The "usable only by"/"Unusable by" cases are as numerous as in English, so several matches are required as well. But we don't have any uppercase/lowercase mismatch in French though. :beer:

    Move deprecation text ~It's broke.~, in component @300000, to the tra files.

    French translation is: ~Ce composant est foireux.~

    The text is not currently added in the French tra file, as the string reference to use is unknown (@300002 maybe?).

  3. Hello,

    The french translation was sent to cmorgan; I don't know if you're the right person, cmorgan... I saw you were moderator of this forum, if it's not the case I guess you can contact the right ones.

    I sent you a modified tp2 file with the following changes:

    // Readme time is *before* installing
    // Isaya : use a language specific readme, if available, otherwise the default (english)
    // See Widescreen mod for other example of that
    README ~level1npcs/readme-level1npcs-%LANGUAGE%.html~ ~level1npcs/readme-level1npcs.html~

    Indeed, we translated the ReadMe.

    LANGUAGE
     ~Francais (traduit par Graoumf, des d'Oghmatiques)~
     ~french~
     ~level1npcs/languages/french/setup.tra~

    ACTION_IF (("scc" = 0x1) OR ("sdc" = 0x1) OR ("tmc" = 0x1) OR ("wpc" = 0x1) OR ("qnb" != 0x0)  OR ("ctc" = 0x1) OR ("crc" = 0x1) OR ("fcc" = 0x1)) THEN BEGIN
     PRINT @200021
     SILENT
     ACTION_IF (~%LANGUAGE%~ STRING_EQUAL_CASE ~ENGLISH~) THEN BEGIN
    OUTER_SPRINT ~unusability_match~ ~\(Not [Uu]sable [Bb]y\|Unusable [Bb]y\|Only [Uu]sable [Bb]y\)~
    OUTER_SPRINT ~NOT_USABLE_BY~	 ~Not Usable By:~
    OUTER_SPRINT ~NEUTRAL_OR_EVIL~   ~Any Neutral or Evil Character~
    OUTER_SPRINT ~DRUID~			 ~Druid~
    OUTER_SPRINT ~CLERIC~			~Cleric~
    OUTER_SPRINT ~MAGE~			  ~Mage~
    OUTER_SPRINT ~THIEF~			 ~Thief~
    OUTER_SPRINT ~FIGHTER~		   ~Fighter~
    OUTER_SPRINT ~BARD~			  ~Bard~
     END ELSE BEGIN
    ACTION_IF (~%LANGUAGE%~ STRING_EQUAL_CASE ~FRENCH~) THEN BEGIN
      OUTER_SPRINT ~unusability_match~ ~\(Non utilisable par\|Inutilisable par\|Utilisable uniquement par\)~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~NOT_USABLE_BY~	 ~Non utilisable par :~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~NEUTRAL_OR_EVIL~   ~Tout personnage mauvais ou neutre~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~DRUID~			 ~Druide~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~CLERIC~			~Clerc~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~THIEF~			 ~Voleur~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~FIGHTER~		   ~Guerrier~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~MAGE~			  ~Mage~
      OUTER_SPRINT ~BARD~			  ~Barde~
    END
     END

    I guess there is some others improvements to do with others languages for the last code.

    And there is also some others suggestions in the txt file "Ameliorations tp2".

  4. Hello,

    We've got a little question about a term in x#coint.tra. Coran tells a story:

    There is a small settlement of Belgarden in Cormyr, on the lands that now are claimed by humans, but of old, they were Elven. One cruel battle was fought there thousands of years ago, ere the Crown Wars.

    Which is Belgarden? The name of the little settlement? Is this a village? We've only found a reference in a Domi's fan-fic.

    Thanks for the help. :rolleyes:

  5. @ Graoumf - can you check to see if the user is using Berelinde's Lucy the Wyvern mod as well as Shards of Ice? That might be a conflict.

    I asked him to post here. Well, I'm going to send him a pm.

    I will point out another thing. You updated UB for IWD (and it's great, thanks !), but it's not me that did the french translation. It was ForeverDream. :)

  6. cmorgan, it seems that the french translation doesn't work in totality. A french player told me that Lucy speaks english in a store - it concerns u!lstore.tra.

    I don't know where is the mistake (strings are in french in the french directory), I'm not a modder, but I guess it will be the same for others foreign languages... Maybe in the .tp2?

  7. Sure thing - please recheck and resend to that same email address, and I can do that as well :blush:

    I have contacted Isaya to let him know this great news. He will resend you the .tra files when he will be able to - he's away for the moment.

    Thanks cmorgan! :blush:

  8. Er... Shards of Ice is not the only mod whose translation in italian is not added in the download yet. If someone wants to update NPC Kit Pack, SPStuff and Unfinished Business for IWD with my translation in italian (since their authors left modding scene), I would be glad to sent him/her the proper filesw TRA. smile.gif

    I'm sorry to interfere but I know there is also a french translation of UB for IWD... could you update it in the same time, please? :blush:

  9. Hello,

    The french translation rolls. :blush: We're working on phases 1 & 2 of each NPC for the moment.

    I would to point out this thread. Maybe it could help others translations teams. Let's notice than there is more than 30 000 strings to translate: only a team can make it, with quality and synchronization from the original game.

  10. I hope the modder concerned will read this post.

    If you have a mod being translated to French by the D'Oghmatiques, do not send anymore queries to Egrevyn. I am now in charge of the whole thing, and you can contact me via e-mail on the adress I use here. If you still do so, you might not receive any response.

    Thanks for your understanding :cool:

    Hello,

    Just to say that the new coordinators for the d'Oghmatiques are Isaya and me. If you have any queries about french translations, you can contact us by pm.

    Besides, there are others french translations made recently:

    - BG2 Fixpack (by Anomaly)

    - NPC Kit Pack (by Thot of the d'Oghmatiques)

    - NPC Tweak mod (by me)

    - Plasmocat's "BG NPC Portraits in BG2 Style (BGT, Tutu)" (by Anomaly)

    - Sword and Fist (by La Voix 2 la Sagesse of the d'Oghmatiques)

    - Song and Silence (by Zayn and Lothringen of the d'Oghmatiques)

    - Sword Coast Stratagems (by Mornagest of the d'Oghmatiques)

    - Shards Of Ice (by La Voix 2 la Sagesse of the d'Oghmatiques)

    - Unfinished Business for IWD2 (by ForeverDream)
