    It's most likely a matter of installing an older version of the mod during the build phase of the game - and if so, reverting to an older save won't help, because the appearance of Renal's messenger is provided in the baldur.bcs file, and it is created at the start of a new game and is common to all areas!

    Try going to Renal's hideout and before talking to him (indoors!) change the variable so that Renal starts his standard dialogue instead of the dialogue from this quest. To do this, before talking to him in the console, write this:

    CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("BeshabaCurse", "GLOBAL",0)

    After that, Renal should start the standard dialogue about the story quests.

The dialogue starts: "It is good to be back in Amn, even under these conditions"

    As it is part of the vanilla game, I suppose that I can just uninstall the mod, play the dialogue and the reinstall the mod, but still.

    I didn't quite understand what you mean. The "Beshaba quest" only starts in chapter 3 (when all Renal's quests are completed). It will begin with a dialogue with Renal's messenger, and then with himself (at this point, all of his quests should already be completed). In chapter 2, this quest cannot start in any way, since in the script it can only be started in chapters 3 or 6:

    You may have installed a very old version of the mod that did not yet contain this condition? Make sure you are using the latest version of the mod.

    Good afternoon! This "messy hackjob" was made by me, and I am very surprised to read such rude words about my work.
    My goal was to make the "Aurora Shoes" mod compatible with the EE version of BG2, since no one else has done this for many years. I spent a lot of time on this and I did this not for myself, but in order to give people the opportunity to play this mod. And, as you can see, all NPCs, quests, dialogues and animations now work on BG2EE, and installation of Infinity Animations is no longer required. So, the version of "Aurora Shoes" 5.3 is fully compatible with BG2EE and has been personally tested by me.

    But with EET-compatibility is somewhat more complicated. I made sure the mod installed on EET without error and our testers said it works on EET. I did not have the opportunity to go through both parts of the game myself, and my experience is not enough to take into account all the possible nuances - so I trusted the words of the testers.

    At the same time, I am always open to constructive criticism and am ready to make changes and improvements to the Aurora mod. And earlier I expressed the hope that Gwendolyne or someone else will check this version and improve it if necessary. As I wrote on the SHS,

    You are critical of my work, not appreciating the fact that the mod has become fully compatible with the BG2EE version and the problem is only on the EET, while you have done nothing to help solve the problem. You write that you fixed the mod on EET, but do not attach the corrected files so that I or the SHS admins can update the mod.
    I am always glad of any help, but if it is aimed at improving the mod, and not insulting someone else's work. I consider your attitude to be wrong.

    This mod adds the majority of NPCs from BG1 into BG2 SoA&ToB. They have new banters and interjections and a few of them have encounters and quests as well. The mod is broken down into different components, allowing for easy mixing and matching with other mods that may also add NPCs from BG1.
    Additionally, you will be able to visit a new city area, the luxurious Water Gardens, where all the rich and famous of Athkatla go to unwind.
    The mod is compatible with BG2, BG2: EE, BGT and EET.

    Hello! Thanks for your interest in mod!

    As for the quest with the dragon - this would require a script for such a quest. But, unfortunately, I have no ideas at the moment about how this quest should take place, and no one who wants to write texts for it. In addition, I have little free time this year due to family matters, so many projects (including a mod that adds a new village) have had to be abandoned for now. Hope this is temporary.

    From other projects, I managed to code one third of the future mod about the detective guild. I will definitely try to finish this project, because there is already a ready-made script and texts for it, but I don’t know how long it will take.

    As for HTaM, I will continue to fix the found errors and bugs (a few have already been found and I plan to fix them soon). If new interjection or banter ideas come up, I'll add those too, but I don't have any new ideas at the moment. If someone offers their own options for new interjections for the NPC, I will be happy to add them.

  11. You're right - when I added Imoen's new lines, I installed "Imoen Romance" mod at the same time to see if this mod added her lines in the same situations. This helped to avoid duplication and two of her lines in a row)

    I also installed BCaesar and Ratatoskr's MegaMod, as it also adds new interjections in many situations (especially Mazzy), and tried to make sure that HTaM did not duplicate NPC reactions in the same situations.

    Hello! Yes, the mod adds them, although not too many. There are interjections of Imoen in some dialogues in the Umar Hills, in a dialogue with Merett in the Secret Refuge of the Wild Mages, reactions to Cernd's mini-quest in the Slums, in Trademeet after the appearance of the statues, in Nalia's castle after killing the troll, interjections in the new dialogue of Anomen with a prostitute in the Bridge area, in a scene with a storyteller in a tavern.
    These reactions are available in any chapter.
    As well as additional phrases of Imoen in the Irenicus dungeon, but this applies to the first chapter.

    The second component of the mod also adds a mini-quest in the bank for Imoen.

    For example, we need texts and ideas for the following:

    - any banters or interjections in BG2 for Shar-Teel, Xzar, Montaron, Garrick, Kagain, Deekin, Faldorn, Branwen etc.

    The poem describes five mountains, each of which symbolizes one of the fingers of the hand. And the features of the description of each mountain suggest which finger it is about. If it is still not clear, I will write a sequence, but I will have to first look at it in the code, and then I will write to you in private messages so as not to spoil it here.

    It is okay! These warnings simply inform you that you do not have Yeslick, Branwen, Skie and Eldoth components installed and therefore will not have content for them in the ToB component.

    The reason for these warnings is that there is still a common ToB component for the five NPCs. And if one of these five is not installed, then such a message appears about them, but the content for the rest (installed) NPCs is added. Sometime in the future, I plan to split this last common component into parts, but so far the option is simpler and also works well.

    Yes, some files do not have prefixes yet (most items and spells), I plan to fix this. But at the same time, all cre-files, dialogue files, areas files, etc. are prefixed and work well, major issues have been fixed and bug reports from players are very rare now. Therefore, I would not say that the mod not be in very good shape, we regularly receive a lot of good feedback about it (and promptly fix the problems that still remain and that we are informed about). We also periodically add new content to it with the consent of the main author of the mod, has already added more than 1000 new lines of text written by authors from our team..
