    But there is one more point, which was reported by our testers: the setup.tra file must be without Russian translation, otherwise, when installing, it is a solid unreadable text. Replace it with an English setup.tra file, please (in ANSI encoding).

    "BG1 NPC in BG2" mod
    (Author: Smiling Imp, additions - Austin & Arcanecoast Team)

    This mod adds the majority of NPCs from BG1 into BG2 SoA&ToB. They have new banters and interjections and a few of them have encounters and quests as well. The mod is broken down into different components, allowing for easy mixing and matching with other mods that may also add NPCs from BG1.

    Additionally, you will be able to visit a new city area, the luxurious Water Gardens, where all the rich and famous of Athkatla go to unwind.

    The mod is compatible with BG2, BG2: EE, BGT and EET.

    Version 12.6 includes the following changes:

  3. Hello! In the Russian version of the mod, the encoding of the ee.tra file is incorrect - it should be 1251, not UTF-8. Because of this, the game has unreadable characters instead of these lines. Please change the encoding, here is the corrected file!

    Thank you! If you can, please check if the first component of the mod in the latest version 3.0 is installed on the BGT without errors? TotoR wrote the error log above. It looks like it's related to Vlad's VCv21 mod, not BGT, but I'm not sure.

    Exactly. Because I cannot find the cause of this error, I have HTaM installed along with the Xan BG2 mod without problems (both on the EE version and on the classic version). But I don't have BGT and I don't have Vlad's mod, which is present in the log above. So I cannot verify this myself.

    Hello! Please try to install the mod before installing BGT. Judging by the log, you first installed BGT, and only then HTaM? In this case, the reason may be this.

    Hello! Thanks, this is weird. The error occurs with the O#XANJ.d file from the "Xan BG2" mod - where the function is compiled for the dialogs of all NPCs in Spellhold, but now I installed Xan mod and then HTaM mod on EE version - and there is no such error. I will try to find the reason. 

    UPD: on the "classic" version, I also do not have such an error, everything is well installed. Very strange. This means that the cause of the problem is definitely in some other mods or is it that you have BGT . Unfortunately, I do not have BGT and therefore cannot reproduce this error. I'll ask tipun (the author of this function in the first component) - maybe he can figure out the reason.

    Hello! During the quest, you should have received a scroll with the poem "Five Peaks". In this poem, the clue is encrypted on which finger of the skeleton (and which one) should be put on in order to open the chest, near which it is located.
    But, unfortunately, the setup.tra file is still unproofread in the English version (this is the only file that has not yet been verified). As a result, the translation of this poem has been made by machine translation and may not be clear enough for English-speaking players :(
    I really hope that someone will help with proofreading this file, but so far no one has volunteered to do so.

    Now I have updated this file in the English version - I tried to make the poem as clear as I could.

    Version 12.5 includes the following changes:

    • Added an auction held at Lady Goldsword's mansion in Water Gardens, where players would have a one time chance to land precious artifacts for himself and his companions (idea by Smiling Imp, texts by Jericho2, proofread by Sarevok57, coding by Austin). In total, 11 sketches were written, mostly humorous, in the style of the original mod - a total of almost 1000 new lines! The auction will become available after Lady Goldsword's main quest is completed and after that, 500 seconds of real time will elapse. Every day there will be new scenes, if the player has the required amount of money, and for some scenes, you also need to have certain NPCs in the group - Minsc, Korgan, HaerDalis, etc. If you have Minsc in the group, you will be able to get the legendary platinum pantaloons, and many nobles throughout the city will comment on this (in the Water Gardens area, the Government area and the Bridge area). And if these pantaloons remain with you until the end of the game, then in the chapter 6 in Athkatla you will find an additional small scene.
    • Fixed item descriptions in Deekin's shop, edits by Ulpian
    • Correction of "Usability" parameters for druid/shaman-related scimitars and axes on the EE version (thanks tipun)
    • Now the sound files will not be installed all together as a separate component, but for each of the NPCs separately and automatically.
    • The installation code has been improved to avoid bugs in the event that the components were installed out of order (for example, first Shar-Teel was installed, and then Water Gardens - earlier in this case, some of the dialogs could be removed)

    As for the bug with Korgan, I have not yet found the reason, but I will look again. It is important to use the latest version, since I have fixed several bugs with these Korgan's dialogs since version 2.4 (therefore, most likely, the cause of the bug has already been fixed and therefore it does not repeat itself).

    Hello again! I checked what was written above and fixed the bugs!

    1) In the third component, the addition of the dir.ids file was not provided, as in the first two components. But at the same time, in one of the scripts there was an indication of the direction in the form of a letter designation. Therefore, it was installed on the BGT with an error. Now there should be no error (since version 2.8)

    2) The problem with stuttering in a banter between Imoen and Anomen in ToB was caused by the fact that this banter should have been triggered only if Anomen is chaotic-neutral in nature and there is no active romance between Anomen and the player. The dialog file contained the necessary checks, but I forgot to add them in the script. As a result, the script tried to start a dialog, but no checks were performed in the d-file. Fixed! 
    I also added checks for the presence of Imoen in the party and her status (earlier I forgot to include them in the script and they were only in d-file)

    3) Regarding the third problem, I do not see an error in the files - above I wrote what conditions must be met to start this dialog. Perhaps the tester had a dialogue with the Jackal earlier? In this case, Korgan will not talk about debt, and then the reason may be this.

    I will add that for testing it is recommended to use the latest version (2.7), as it fixes several problems that were in earlier versions.

    Regarding the conversation with Korgan, I have provided two options for starting a dialogue about his duty:
    1) If there has not been a conversation with Madeen yet, then Korgan will talk about the debt two days after completing the quest with Kaza's book (simultaneously with the conversation about Madeen)
    2) If the player has already spoken with Madeen and Tolgerias, then Korgan will start talking about debt after two days have passed after Kaza's book is found. Here are all the conditions for starting a conversation:

    I don't have IWD2 myself, but p_zombie and our other testers reported that the mod only works correctly on WeiDU 23600. According to them, on other versions (including version 24600), many dialogues and battles did not work as they should. For example, the dialogue with Nord, where he gives gifts, did not appear. It was the same with the dialogue with the druid about saving people, etc.
    I quote a p_zombie: "It looks like the mod uses some features or functions of weidu, which were subsequently changed or removed. With various older versions of weidu, there were some similar problems in the game. With weidu 23600 it worked without problems. So I would recommended using only version 23600 with this mod to avoid problems in the game, and no other. I have not tested the mod on version 24700, but I do not think that the situation will change with it, since these problems were present on 24600 "
