Kreso thank you for your quick response. But I must point out I use BG2 vanilla - French GoG version -, not BG2EE. So I’ve downloaded your basilisk file and put it in my game; crash again…Poor Maya…

I see…So have you really the intention to change this spell - MS IX - in a near future if you think it’s an overkill ? But above all, had you got nevertheless the occasion to see already this spell worked correctly in a SoA/ToB - session ? I’d be curious from yourself , Kreso, to see a screenshot of a game during the first combat in ToB with the activation without crash this time of the summoning of the basilisks. Note I’ve send a full WeiDU log with only 10 mods installed, so I think it could be perhaps a small bug in my install; so please, if you’ve some time, is it possible to make an install - I’ve used at the beginning a clean French BG2 GoG game - of my mods (if you’ve some problems with French I could to send you an English install without difficulties) and to try to find the origine of this bug ? Believe me, I’d be really relieved and happy to see this spell to work correctly. Thank you by advance.

I don’t wish to be discourteous, but what about the bugs of SR I have detected recently ? You can’t imagine the pleasure I’ll have in the future when the dear Nalia will send basilisks against the dreadfuls ones during a combat…

When a bug is detected, another one appears… After a long search - 15+ installs… - I’ve been able to detect the reason of the impossibility to install Stratagems_v30 in BG2: the mod Volcano Pack v2.0 (created by Baronius) which adds a merchant in ToB selling items and spells is the cause of this problem. This mod removed, now this problem is solved. Now having made a light install of BG2 (GOG version) - see the WeiDU.log below, sorry it’s in French but I hope you’ll understand it without difficulties - I’ve created an human Sorceress in a ToB session, giving more levels with the console in order to have more spells and new problems appears: 1 - when I launch the spell Monster Summoning IX (level 9), I’ve always a crash, and it’s not the first time I’ve this problem. After many attempts I summon with the console basilgsu.cre and the crash appears again; I wonder why, the file of this creature is present in the override folder; is this file bugged ? 2 - when the massacre against Illasera and hers no-hopers begins, the mage - zilmag01.cre - at the left cause a crash when he launch his first spells. Once retired from the override folder no crash this time.It seems he hasn’t MSIX in his spellbook…and yet… WeiDU.log

Well…I’ve posted this anomaly about the non-installation of Stratagems_SR after SRv4beta14 the last week and nobody hasn’t given me a response - and the solution - until now; so is there a charitable person able to help me to resolve this annoying bug ? It’s perhaps a little problem easy to fix, but having not any knowledge in the IE system, I’m unable to do it myself… The links are always here, so put an eye on these and well give me a response please.

But what is it exactly ? Sorry to interrupt your discussion here, but is it possible please to give a date for the release of SRv4 ? It’s because I wish to see what an well-known horrible gnomish turnip-seller will do with these new spells in a near future…Summon Umber Hulks and Basilisks, whaow !

Dear Kreso, I’ve followed your advice about the install of Spell Revisions v4beta13 and this time I’ve installed SR in English and Stratagems too. Well, the same problem reappears again ! here the new debug log: stratagems_debug.txt

Note: recently I’ ve been unable to install the last version of Stratagems_v30 - compatible with Spell Revisions v4beta13 - at the end of my installation of BG2 (standard, not EE). Perhaps it’s a small bug, I hope you’ll be able to solve it quickly NB: English isn’t my native language. I’ve tried to install the French versions of SCS and SR. see here: error_install.txt

To Kreso: it seems you are my saviour ! At last I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, because before I was forced to install the old SCSIIv21, and the following versions of Stratagems before of this bug refused obstinately to install… Now, having open Stratagems v30, edited setup-stratagems.tp2, and found the initialisation component, is it possible to indicate me how to modify the lines of code in order to have at last a clear install of Stratagems ? Thanks !
