Echon
What determines whether an animation is valid for an area effect? I tried changing the targeting of Burning Hands and Agannazar's Scorcher from Living Actor (1) to Any Area Within Range (4) but this meant that they never hit anything. I also did this to Lightning Bolt with more success as it would hit anything in its path after being "activated", i.e. after reaching the point I choose as the target. I had a look at the BAM structure but did not find anything related to this. Is it hardcoded into the BAM or do I need to change something else in the spell? -Echon Link to comment
igi
In BG2 this is controlled by the projectile (.pro file). I believe this is hard-coded in all other engines :/ Link to comment
Echon
I believe this is hard-coded in all other engines :/ I admit I was expecting that. Well, now I at least know that it is not possible. -Echon Link to comment
