Dark Planetar!

Okay, I have been greatly enjoying the wonderful, wonderful mod SCS V14, happily coupled with other (many) mods. Truly, the game play has been the best, and I was having ever so much fun with my cleric/wild mage (SKed) protagonist. I recently did the Balduran's Island quest. To my suprise, I was able to calm Kaishas for the first time in my near tenth game play, avoiding blood shed, and I was very impressed, I never knew this was even possible. I returned to mainland to Mendas and the fight ensued as usual, despite the fact I hadn't slaughtered all the werewolfs back. I knew Mendas was the more dangerous one since he was a mage (SCS teaches this well), so I focused on him and wounded him to force him into his werewolf form. I ignored Baresh who was casting some kind of conjuration spell in the corner, (was he a spell caster before, could not remember, did not care.) and then found out I have done a grevious mistake when he called in a:

planetar.jpg

Now, I knew this was not supposed to happen (right?), and since I thought this was a bug, I made my party escape outside, and waited till the frikin planetar got unsummoned. I entered again and Baresh gated in another! Duh. I escaped again and waited. This time I entered and quickly slaughtered Mendas's were form. Baresh then got panicked and started running. Khalid cut him off with a critical hit.

This has never happened before, and I have never encountered any bug up into my game now.

Here is my weidu log:

I know I use a lot of mods, but I thought I have managed a bug-free installation and smooth and fun gameplay up until now.

Any ideas as to cause or has anybody experienced this?

Thanks in advance, and please keep up the good work!

I don't know what's happening with Baresh, but regarding this:

I recently did the Balduran's Island quest. To my suprise, I was able to calm Kaishas for the first time in my near tenth game play, avoiding blood shed, and I was very impressed, I never knew this was even possible.

In the vanilla game, it's not. This is only possible because of the improved baduran's isle component from SCS.

So this has happened to others, and is a known bug, but I have not encountered it before. I have Easy-TuTu, BTW, not BGT. Oh well... it certainly was a suprise.

Meanwhile I had my save games deleted (need to format) and thus have to install everything and start all over... Shame really, but no biggie, I feel real enthusiastic to play again thanks to wonderful mod that is SCS. I will see if the bug will hit again, and if it does, this time I will not run, tee hee hee. :p

This happened to me on my recent run through. I found if I didn't deal with Baresh quickly then he'd summon a Dark Planetar and my party would die horribly. I also noticed I couldn't interrupt the spell, not with all six party members hitting him with everything they had.

I ended up splitting the party and having some deal with Mendas, using weapons that do elemental damage to bypass his protections and interrupt his spells, and the rest tried to kill Baresh as quickly as possible.
