Weapon Proficiency System tweak?

What changes exactly? Ive never played Baldurs gate 1 so this tweak is a bit lost to me.

Could you be a little clearer please? Which mod are you refering to? Which component of that mod? BG1 Tweaks has no Weapon Proficiency System tweak. There are three tweaks that may be in question, if BG1 Tweaks is the mod you're refering to.

 

Weapons Animation Tweaks - Simply makes the use of certain weapons appear more reasonable.

Multi-Class Grand Mastery - Allows dual and multi-class fighters to put 5 points into weapons.

Baldur's Gate II Grand Mastery - Uses the nerfed grand mastery table from BG2, making grand mastery a little less grand.

I think he is referring to BG2 tweaks component Alter Weapon Proficiency System in the Rule Changes section.

 

Without downloading and looking at it, I can't be certain of what it does.
