WinNoMatterWhat Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 I'm sure this has been answered but I couldnt find a post that explains exactly how this is done. I love the spell changes but I just want to change a couple spells back which I liked better in their original form (haste, greater malison, horrid wilting) I know it involves using the */ \* tags in the file, but can I change spells back while keeping most of the spells changed if Ive already started a game which has the spell changes? I have to reinstall the whole mod I know that much but will it mess anything up and how exactly do I do it? Thanks in advance (sorry for asking something thats been asked before)
Ardanis Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Delete from the override folder files SPWI305.SPL (Haste), SPWI412.SPL (Greater Malison), SPWI812.SPL (Horrid Wilting). You may want to keep Haste, though, because the original version applies the permanent fatigue until your party rests, unlike SR's short-lasting exhaustion.
WinNoMatterWhat Posted February 2, 2013 Author Posted February 2, 2013 Wow I never knew that thanks dude I really appreciate it you're awesome. Didnt know aspects of SR could be removed so easily and also didnt know that the fatigue in SR was short term OR that the haste spell applied long term fatigue, thought the fatigue was an SR thing! Thanks so much!
