grogerson
Finished Dragon's Eye and returned to Kuldahar. The orogs did not attack though they were red. Also of a late note, when I entered the second level of the Temple of the Forgotten God I was attacked by only one verbeeg. Shouldn't there have been three? Link to comment

Shouldn't there have been three? This area ? Or the Red Toe's ? Erhm, the priest should summon two, but Red Toe is there alone, and they are in different areas... and there are more Verbeeg's in the real temple area. As for Red Toe, he was still there when I left the temple only this time he went hostile. I've entered the Severed Hand. All the "ambushes" encountered had problems. AR5201 - West side of outer ring, the enemies appeared but began blinking in and out. No discernible pattern or speed. It made it difficult to attack them or they to attack the party. AR5202 - Same as above with the wargs. The ambush in the northern chamber failed to trigger. AR5203 - Southwest outer ring same as AR5201, only the armored skeletons were able to attack. The second in the northwest of the outer ring failed to trigger. Some of the creatures that spawned where they couldn't be seen did not blink, some when hidden by the fog of war stopped blinking. grogerson
AR5202, 03 - Some of the elven acolytes and clerics blinked in and out, though slower than happened in AR5201 and 02, and they could attack... Link to comment
decado
Hi, I recently installed this and have had a couple of issues that have prevented me from progressing. First of all, Lysan refuses to appear in response to Kressilacks quest. I've checked in Shadowkeeper that Kress_Quest = 3 and that Lysan is no longer at the inn in Kuldahar (I had spoken with her before setting off to the Vale of Shadows). I've double checked everything and simply appear to be stuck. Second, AOE spells don't appear to do anything. The spell is cast, the AOE flies off into the distance and then nothing happens. Third, a few of the tweaks don't appear to be working, most notably the "Multi-Class Grand Mastery (Weimer)" (my F/M/T can only put two pips in any weapon) & "Friendly Random Drops -> Choose Your Drop: v15" (it seems to be working as per the vanilla version. Everything else that I have had the opportunity to test seems to be working as expected. I am running a new game since the installtion. I'm installing onto a clean GoG version of IWD using a clean GoG version of BG2. The Weidu log is as below. If there is anything else I can provide to give a more detailed request just let me know. // Log of Currently Installed WeiDU Mods // The top of the file is the 'oldest' mod // ~TP2_File~ #language_number #component_number // [subcomponent Name -> ] Component Name [ : Version] ~ICE_TUTU_TWEAKS/SETUP-ICE_TUTU_TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #10 // Fixpack (fixes residual errors in the converter - MUST BE INSTALLED): v8.0 ~ICE_TUTU_TWEAKS/SETUP-ICE_TUTU_TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #200 // First level characters can put more than 2 stars in any one proficiency: v8.0 ~ICE_TUTU_TWEAKS/SETUP-ICE_TUTU_TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3010 // Add map notes: v8.0 ~ICE_TUTU_TWEAKS/SETUP-ICE_TUTU_TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3030 // Restore (most) BG2 spells and make scrolls available - WARNING: they will look very out of place: v8.0 ~ICE_TUTU_TWEAKS/SETUP-ICE_TUTU_TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3040 // Never lose access to Orrick the Gray's trade goods: v8.0 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #10 // Remove Helmet Animations: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #20 // Weapon Animation Tweaks: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #70 // Force All Dialogue to Pause Game: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #1020 // Stores Sell Higher Stacks of Items: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2010 // Two-Handed Bastard Swords: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2020 // Universal Clubs: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2030 // Remove Experience Cap: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2061 // Wear Multiple Protection Items -> No Restrictions: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2080 // Multi-Class Grand Mastery (Weimer): v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2100 // Change Magically Created Weapons to Zero Weight: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2110 // Un-Nerfed THAC0 Table: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2120 // Alter Mage Spell Progression Table -> Un-Nerfed Table (Blucher): v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2130 // Alter Bard Spell Progression Table -> Un-Nerfed Table (Blucher): v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2140 // Alter Priest Spell Progression Table -> Un-Nerfed Table (Blucher): v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2150 // Druids Use Cleric Level and Spell Progression: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2160 // Druids Use 3e Alignment Restrictions (NG, LN, TN, CN, NE): v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2182 // Add Save Penalties for Spells Cast by High-Level Casters -> Arcane & Divine Magic: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3000 // Higher HP on Level Up -> Maximum: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3031 // Easy Spell Learning -> 100% Learn Spells and No Maximum Cap: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3060 // Unlimited Ammo Stacking: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3070 // Unlimited Gem and Jewelry Stacking: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3080 // Unlimited Potion Stacking: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3090 // Unlimited Scroll Stacking: v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3120 // Sellable Staffs, Clubs, and Slings (Icelus): v15 ~G3DALETWEAKS/SETUP-G3DALETWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3141 // Friendly Random Drops -> Choose Your Drop: v15 ~WIDESCREEN/WIDESCREEN.TP2~ #0 #0 // Widescreen Mod -> for the original Infinity Engine (CHOOSE THIS!): Widescreen Mod v3.02 Edited September 20, 2013 by decado Link to comment
grogerson
Finished the Severed Hand. Add AR5301 and 02 to the list of blinking enemies. Common to all are they are shadowed, and spawned after crossing a floor trigger. Also Sheemish failed to give me the key to the chest, or even mention it. @ decado - just to make sure, you're using v8, not v7? Also, did you agree to Kresselack's demand to kill her? She won't appear until you do... Link to comment
decado
Yep, using V8. Also definitely agreed to kill her, I even traipsed back to Kressilack to double check the dialogue options - the only one available is Kresilack demanding to know if I have done the deed yet. Link to comment
DavidW
Looking at the reports so far I'm a little concerned that some bits of v8 may have been broken. I don't immediately have time to look at it (and I suspect neither does Cam) but possibly anyone who's only playing recreationally might do better to stick with v7 just for now. Link to comment
decado
If I install V7 over the top of V8 do you think it may rectify my current game or is it likely borked? Link to comment
DavidW
Words cannot express how much of a mess that would make! However, if you keep your savegames and move them into a new install it'll probably work. Link to comment
grogerson
Since I'm *not* playing recreationally (at least not completely) I'll continue. Just so you know, I had no problem with Lysian/Kresselack. Finished the upper areas of Upper Dorn's with only one problem - Bandoth's store had one potion with a bad string (Magic Protection). decado
Reading through V7 it states that Trials of the Luremaster needs to be installed for the converter to work. I didn't have this installed for V8 (I can't see it mentioned anywhere). Could this have screwed my game up? Grrr. Turns out I can't even install that, 'a valid installation of IWD cannot be found'. It would be a bit better if it asked me where to look... Edited September 24, 2013 by decado Link to comment
DavidW
Reading through V7 it states that Trials of the Luremaster needs to be installed for the converter to work. I didn't have this installed for V8 (I can't see it mentioned anywhere). It's in the readme, but you're right that it could stand to be mentioned on the forum instructions too. I've added it. Could this have screwed my game up? Oooh yes. Link to comment
decado
Bummer. Thanks for confirming though! So in an attempt to rescue this - I can't seem to install Trials of the Luremaster as it seems to be looking in a predetermined location for my IWD (I assume in Program files), and therefore failing to find it. Is there another installer/method which will allow me to specify where the program files are located? Second, if I do manage to get TotLM installed would I most likely have to start from scratch or would my current savegame be useable? Link to comment
DavidW
I can't help you with installing TotLM (I've been using the GoG version for ages). Savegames: I don't know. You could try; it probably won't crash on load but you might find some variables mis-set, which could break quests. Link to comment
