Chitown Willie Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 (edited) Just curious if people play their NPCs with their default classes/kits - or use tweaks? I've been maxing out on tweaks, and it's added a lot of flavor: Khalid : Fighter/Mage (CDTweaks) Xan: Generalist Mage (CDTweaks) Shar-Teel: Amazon (Turambar) Viconia : Priest of Shar (Turambar) Branwen : Priest of Tempus (Turambar) Faldorn: Avenger (Turambar) Eldoth : Jester (Turambar) Safana: Swashbuckler (Jarl's BGT Tweaks) Kivan : Archer (Jarl's BGT Tweaks) Imoen : Adventurer (NPC Kitpack) I keep the original class if the tweak already exists. For example, I maintain Ajantis as a true-class Paladin since Isra is already a Cavalier; same with Montaron, since Vynd is already an assassin. Thoughts? Jarno Mikkola Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 Yes, Level 1 NPCs... all day long. In BGT: Jaheira; Ranger/Cleric Minsc; Berserker... or the brightest of them all, a mage. Khalid would suit to be a Fighter/Mage, but I generally don't play with him. He gets to be a stone statuet. I don't use Isra, so if I take Ajantis, he gets a paladin kit... Edwin, be a Barbarian. Dynaheir: Sometimes, sometimes a sorcerer or a special sorcerer kits. BG2: Aerie usualy get's a special class/kit compilation. ToB: Sarevok; Kensai -> Thief, with a UAI. Quote
Endarire Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 Edwin to me seems like the type to fake his way into the Red Wizards and be powerful enough no one would care. He gets the Arcanist Mage kit from Tome & Blood. Quote
