jmerry Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Searching for references to SPIN101 ... oops, forgot to disable searching GAM files. For some reason, those take absolutely forever. And throw a bazillion errors, too... Bhaalspawn abilities are granted to newly created characters based on ABSTART.2DA. The trick, which I don't know, is how to tell the game which campaigns use that and which don't. EET changes campaign selection, and that seems to be breaking this. Quote
argent77 Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 (edited) According to IESDP ABSTART.2DA is not used by the game. In a new BG2-SoA game EET uses a script to add Bhaalspawn abilities. It does so in a fairly simplistic manner though, by adding either all good or all evil abilities based on starting reputation. These script blocks appear to be missing for a new SoD game.
