Beamdog's forum again under maintainance? I get a "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable" since yesterday, but the main site works... any news about it?

Seems to be back online.

The numerous downtimes lately may be related to the recent layoffs. That doesn't bode well for the future of the forum.

Jesus. Totally missed the news. It's all becoming a den of stinking evil, I've seem too many game studio obliterated to be optimistic.

I'm especially worried about that line:

It looks like this is an ongoing process that has most likely not yet ended.

Apparently Embracer lost a $2 billion (with a b) deal earlier this year, and it fell apart approximately in the last minute. If Beamdog only lose those people ultimately, it still ends up more lucky than Volition which was closed down outright - the studio's smaller scale might be good for it in this regard.
