drake127
I posted it before but noone confirmed it and it has not been included to new IESDP. In IWD (v9) CRE file: When you set flag undroppable in ITM section in CRE file, item is not undroppable. I found that this flag only draw blue border around this item in inventory. Link to comment
igi
I checked this but couldn't confirm it. I think I remember thinking "what controls the blue border?" shortly followed by "what does the blue border mean", rapidly followed by "do I have to play IWD again?". If anyone could confirm (or deny) this it would be good. Link to comment
Guest avenger_work
I believe they confused the identified flag with the undroppable flag Link to comment
drake127
I believe they confused the identified flag with the undroppable flag I assure you I can recognize blue border and blue fill. OK, I tested it once more: I have czech version of IWD-HoW-TotL and work in NI (2Avenger: I use DLTCEP as well ) We talk about CRE file (not ITM). I work with item section. In new game I receive some items and I looked at them in editor: RING07 (Ring of Protection +2) - Identified, Undroppable - blue border PLAT01 (Plate Mail) - Identified - nothing Now I changed it: RING07 (Ring of Protection +2) - Identified - nothing PLAT01 (Plate Mail) - Identified, Undroppable - blue border I chcek it in DLTCEP as well. Now I am pretty sure I am not wrong. EDIT: I can mention that both items were normally droppable. Link to comment
Guest avenger_work
ok, maybe this flag is real. Drake: try to get a magical item (unidentified). Check your item slot. Then identify it. (You should see a blue border now) Check your item slot again. It could be that this flag is different in IWD (GAAH, it will affect gemrb). Link to comment
drake127
GETYOURCHEATON:CreateItem("ring06") RING06 (Ring of Protection +1) - Undroppable - blue fill After Identifying RING06 (Ring of Protection +1) - Identified, Undroppable - blue border My another try RING06 (Ring of Protection +1) - - blue fill But when I moved ring to mage (because of identifying) flag changed itself to undroppable. Guest avenger_work
K it seems, it is a 'magical flag'. Now lets go from the other way. Get a nonmagical item, set this flag. Then load game, check flag (should be blue) Move it around. Does it remain blue bordered, and when moved around does it keep the blue border? Link to comment

Whatever I have done blue border have stayed. I looked at identified Ring+2 (without blue border) and try to do same but it did not get blue border. I can assume that blue border is automatically assigned only when item is not identified (because when it is not identified it must be magical). Link to comment
Avenger
Yep, this magical flag sticks on items, and you can remove it from magical items to make them appear nonmagical. Now i just have to check how this flag gets set in the first place, but i suspect that the 'magic' flag of the item gets copied there when the item first created. I've modified DLTCEP to have this flag, now i have to check if IWD2 works the same (which is 99%). Or maybe PST... (2%) Btw, the flag sticks around when the item is put in containers, and 99% it will stick around when sold. Link to comment
Smoketest
The flag seems to work the same in IWD2. Link to comment
