Nim
In this Thread it was noted, that Oh, in insane, you have -%100 damage resistance, when you berserk, you gain 15HP, but when it ends, you suffer 30 instead of 15, [Eek!] which greatly limits its effectivenes! (you actually manage to hurt yourself!). The Berserker gains 15 HPs upon Raging on all difficulties, but loses between 8 and 30 HPs depending on difficulty when the Rage wears off => Novice -8 HPs; Normal -12 HPs; Core -15 HPs; Hard -22 HPs; Insane -30 HPs. Can this be fixed ? Nim Link to comment
CamDawg
AFAIK the damage reductions/additions are hardcoded to the difficulty slider. Link to comment
Rastor
A script could do it. What you'd need to do is to give the berserker a different berserk rage depended on what difficulty level is selected and set it to change if the difficulty level is changed. These rages are then set to offer progressively less amounts of damage depending upon the difficulty level. Link to comment
devSin
I don't think this is worth changing. The 200% damage is hard-coded, so hacks to workaround seem like a waste of time (not to mention that you want the game to be harder if you purposely change the difflev, so of course you're going to take 2x dmg). the bigg
Besides, checks to Difficulty setting are bound tobe ruined by my Improved Difficulty System. Link to comment
