Trickster, maybe, sounds good. Is there any indication in BGEE that she knows magic though? I don't remember if it's explained anywhere in the game -- beyond SoD, as to when she starts studying magic.

Hmmm, not sure I'm vibing with swashbuckler Safana. Not even bounty hunter, but I could imagine Safana being a bounty hunter since she is a manipulator. What we can gather in BGEE is that she essentially an opportunistic looter of some sort.

In unmodded game, it's only bring to the table in SoD. But BG1 NPC Project adds Imoen learning some bit of magic after studying Tarnesh's spellbook, or telling Davaeron she always wanted to learn magic. Brandock mod also adds some banters about Imoen curiosity about magic and her capacity to learn it.

For Safana, she seeks some men to to fight for her, and in BG2 she does the bounty hunter job by deceipt. Not the NPC I would see in the frontline, fighting like an honorable warrior. So no swashbuckler for me too. 馃檪

    How about:

    ~NPCKIT/NPCKIT.TP2~ #0 #1400 // Give Imoen Adventurer Kit: v5

    ~S9BGEENPCTWEAKS/S9BGEENPCTWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #49 // Make Safana a Swashbuckler: 1.1

    ~S9BGEENPCTWEAKS/S9BGEENPCTWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #52 // Make Skie a Shadowdancer: 1.1

I would say Imoen as a trickster from Artisan, Safana as a bounty hunter, and Skie unkit until BG2EE with Mage Hunter kit from Artisan. ^^

    Highly doubtful... Every NPC?聽

If it was me, I'd be tempted to say, "no, I don't hate myself that much!". Even if we're talking about just joinable NPC's, that seems like too much work, but that's just me.

Though I think it's out of scope to modify joinable NPCs in such a way for this mod.

It seems indeed easier to just use the improved NPC management to give kit to NPC.

    Hi,

This mod is great, it integrates very well with BG and adds some interesting and refreshing interactions with brand new zones, fantastic!

    Here are my testing throughts:

    • about quest (SPOILER) :
      Hide contents
      • One of Halfslinger's diary entries is not deleted at the end of his quest
        • Halfslinger's Ale

I received a mug of ale for Halfslinger in the Seatower.

The journal entries for this quest updated without problem in my game.

Do you use Dragonspear UI ? I remember reading it could sometimes have bad interaction with quests entries.

  5. @AWizardDidIt

Black Hearts is one of the few quests mods always installed on my BGEE, and the one I recommend the most to other players.

The dialogs are great and really fit each NPC. Illasera herself is now one of the most interesting antagonist, along Irenicus and Sarevok, and far ahead of Bodhi.

IMHO Black Hearts is in the top four BGEE quests mods. From what I read on the Infinity Engine Discord, many players really enjoy it too.

I'm still intrigued by your planed SoD part.

Thank you very much for this mod.

  6. After charming Carsa so she dropped the jar and freed Khark in the Firewine ruins, I told her to go to Gullykin after killing him.

But when I meet her again in Gullykin temple, she starts her initial conversation as if in the Firewine area, and as if she still have the jar. If I exit the conversation, then the post Khark death fires and I can then tell her again to go to Gullykin and again receive 1000 XP.

  7. Maybe the hunting spider could be immune to poison, even if not able to poison with its attack ? Or have three attacks ?

I was also wondering if at higher level the forms could evolve again, like greater wyvern, astral phase spider and winter bear like the one in Durlag's Tower ?

As far as avenger is concerned, I also spot something weird on his shapeshifting ability description, namely it still mentioned fire salamander.

Could work, or perhaps the Druid can simply choose which type of shape to morph into (visually), according to the situation (i.e. color-tinted great wyvern or actual dragon shape).

Could be too ugly as a solution, I suppose, and probably inappropriate lorewise.

I am all for making druid shapes stronger (and anything that gets deprecated naturally early in classes and kits in the vanilla game).

I had in mind a dragon disciple HLA.

For druids, ToF already buffs them, particularly Avenger's and Shapeshifter's ones.

Unkitted druid have better elemental forms too.

  9. I noticed that Bjornin the paladin and Alaghain the half ogre were now female. Also, a kobold from Braegar's quest was now a human...

And Baeloth was also human now !

After looking with Near Infinity, it seems related to their respective weapons, all fine ones from SCS :

    - staf02.itm for Baeloth

    - sper02.itm for Bjornin

    - sw2h02.itm for Arghain

    - bow06.itm for the kobold

They all have the effect 53, animation change.

Do I install the mods in their respected games and use EET at the end or do I use DLC merger then EET then install BG1ee mods in BG2EE?

    Depends of the mods.

First check this list : https://k4thos.github.io/EET-Compatibility-List/EET-Compatibility-List.html

    Order should be :

1 on BGEE : DLC Merger if you have Steam or GoG version

2 Any mods on the compatibility list above specifically said needing to be install on BGEE

    Then, on BG2EE :

    3 EET Core

    4 Any others mods

    5 EET End

Just trying to get a sense of the justification, I don't remember enough details to be sure.

Okay, so as far as aasimar, I suppose it's not really plausible, because then it would mean that Alianna (charname's mother) was a half-celestial, which are always good-aligned, which clashes with the fact that she was a devoted disciple of Bhaal who bore his children.

As far as drow... I think I need more explanation. It's not just appearance, I imagine, which would normally cause trouble for a drow on the surface (you might as well roleplay being an albino drow -- aka szarkai -- that blends with other elves normally). What am I missing from BG2EE that would make a drow charname unlikely or problematic lore-wise/plot-wise?

    Cheers.

For drow, the readme states than it's because of BG2 chapter 5. You're suppose to not be a drow during this part, all the dialogs clearly state you're disguised as one and could be find out.
