  1. After joining at level 2, she have three level 1 spells slots, but one of them is unusable.

Looking with Near Infinity, I found out that she have the Command spell memorised in this slot, but she isn't supposed to have it in her spellbook, so the game doesn't show it, preventing to erase it from the slot. I could do it in NI.

Suggested fix : replace the memorized Command spell by a Cure light wound in Branwen.cre.

  2. EDIT :

It's not a bug, I just forgot about human race bonus, one proficiency point bonus...

So many new things, hard to keep up. 🙂

Without the improved NPC management component, some NPC when first recruited don't have the proficiencies they should have.

    I noticed:

Imoen have two points in short sword instead of one

Xzar have two points in dagger instead of one

Walahnan (mage from Lava) have two points in dagger instead of one

Flara (dragon disciple from Glam) have two points in dagger instead of one

Dynaheir have two points in sling instead of one

Huh, weird, I thought that was the intended way to finish the quest. I couldn't pickpocket Zieke without him noticing unless he was charmed (but maybe I could if my pickpocket skill was higher?), but even if he was, taking the gem immediately triggered the guards to notice I had it and go hostile, even if they hadn't seen me pickpocketing, unless they were charmed first.

I found out how to do it properly.

An invisible thief pickpocket Zieke, the trick is to be specifically positioned so the guard near the room doesn't see the thief, and then use another invisibility potion to exit the inn.

OK, looks like the comment "levels are on a 0-8 convention" is incorrect as of 35.10. The number in the token ID is now equal to the spell level, read conventionally. And random scrolls are limited to levels 1-3 in BG1, 1-7 in BG2.

The system is now significantly more generous than in vanilla BGEE; some enemies that didn't drop scrolls can now drop level 1 scrolls, some enemies that dropped level 1 scrolls can now drop up to level 2 scrolls, and enemies that could drop level 2 scrolls (ghouls and ghasts, for example) can now drop up to level 3 scrolls.

It looks like EET does some tricky things with random treasures, separating the BG1 random treasures (that can drop level 1-3 scrolls) and the BG2 random treasures (that can drop scrolls of much higher level) into different items. The old token name goes with the BG2 table, while a new token name points to the BG1 table. And if a mod that doesn't take this into account is installed onto EET, you can end up with random treasures that are significantly more generous than intended.

    Thanks for the hindsight. 🙂

I am playing with the wider random scrolls component from 35.10, and a level 3 scroll (Hold Undead) just dropped from an enemy in the Gnoll Fortress.  Is that intended? I know it was possible to get level 3 scroll drops in vanilla BG1EE, but IIRC that only happened later in the game.

I remember having high level scrolls dropped in an EET game there, with the BGQE A failed picnic quest.

Because the other guy were all around him, so that I could not reach him for discussion (with a long weapon I could hit him, but for discussion this was not close enough).

So I guess the placement on the "Tiax" guys is not optimal ?

(sorry for the late reply, did not see it before)

In many runs, I never encountered this situation.

Damn I just looked at the gameplay changes for SCS and a lot of what's there is exactly what I was looking to do, but better.

I hadn't really looked into SCS much before because I significantly prefer iwd over bg for gameplay, but it looks like a great mod.

I guess mine still works for IWD:EE and is more focused, but I feel like maybe I have reinvented the wheel a bit here...

Latest SCS version can also be used for IWDEE.

Something I would like (I know someone worked on this but don't remember his surname unfortunately) is a limit to one uninterrupted rest by 24 hours.

I have three requests for Siege of Dragonspear, all involving the spectacles:

    - make them have all the charges needed to bring forth the summonable creatures.
    - make it so that you don't have to equip them to see the ghosts around - a good idea would be using the line of sight of whole party (And not of the single party member having them in their inventory).
    - make it so that you don't have to use the ability on the ghosts. Just click on them *Use the spectacles to bring the ghost forth* and done.

For the first one, it's already in Made in Heaven EQ. 🙂

  9. If I 'm remember well, in an EET game if you didn't dual class (and not multiclass) in BGEE she will still be a pure thief at the start of SoA

Don't think SoD changes anything there, unless you use Imoen 4  ever to be able to play with her in the party in SoD and dual class her.
