  2. Not sure whether to post here or in subtledoctor's threads, but your scripts don't seem to work with his Bard component.
  3. Did a re-install, problem no longer occurs. However, I think I found a bug: when my Bladesinger reaches lvl 9 (as mage), they get an ability to advance weapon proficiency, but they can only select weapons with which the proficiency hasn't been maxed out yet. They're supposed to get an ability which designated a weapon as weapon of choice, granting an extra 0.5 attack per round. If you install "Move Archer kit to Fighter" and then "Add Elven Archer", there's no Elven Archer under the Ranger kits. I've also installed the regional Rangers, together with the un-nerfed spell tables for Rangers from Tweaks and at lvl 9, there's still only 1 divine spell slot. (Which appeared at lvl 6.)

  5. I installed the Unearthed Arcana mods in IWD:EE and when I tried to create a Bladesinger (Bard), the game freezes when confirming my memorised spells. Which file should I upload? Is my current installation salvagable or should I start from scratch?
  6. When using the inherent familiar component, I've noticed a small issue: whenever I talk to my familiar and ask how it's doing, I get the replied about the cuts and nicks stinging, implying that the poor thing is hurt. But when hovering over them, it shows "uninjured."
  7. Thanks, found it. Does it matter that the file starts with d5? I got two YARAS ini files, both starting with d5 in the name. The readme says that there should be one without.
  8. While I love YARAS, I think that enabling spellcasting in all armour (with speed penalties) devalues the "caster armours" too much. Would it be possible to make that optional, please? Reread the readme: I assume that d5_YARAS_default is meant, instead of /Scales_of_Balance/ini/YARAS_default.ini? I don't see a YARAS_default.ini my zip? I assume that you can opt to allow increasing enhancement bonuses to allow for a smaller Dex penalty by repeating the below block and adjusting it to "PATCH_IF (%enchantment% >= 2) and then further decreasing, etc? PATCH_IF (%enchantment% >= 1) BEGIN SET leather_dex = 0 SET studded_dex = 1 SET chain_dex = 2 SET splint_dex = 3 SET plate_dex = 4 SET fullplate_dex = 4 END So if I added below this PATCH_IF (%enchantment% >= 2) BEGIN SET leather_dex = 0 SET studded_dex = 0 SET chain_dex = 1 SET splint_dex = 2 SET plate_dex = 3 SET fullplate_dex = 3 END +2 Fullplate would only reduce DEX by 3?

  10. If I install the very same mods & components on both games, would it be wise to import a character? Or would I be better/safer off recreating the same character and then editing the effects of Tomes for example via Near Infinity? Are there any other things that actually transfer? I know some items can be found again, but I don't think any of them matter in the grand scheme of BG2, right? Thanks in advance!
  11. I've selected the "Innate Familiar" component, but my Bard (regular, not one from M&G) isn't getting an innate ability to summon a familiar. Is this intended? If I'd like to change just the innate familiar component, can I just re-run T&B, or do I need to install from a fresh install? Or is there a Near Infinity way to add it? Thanks in advance!
  12. When I install Bardic Wonders before M&G, that mod's Bard kits are unavailable. (Which is logical, if I can follow correctly.) Is there a slight chance somewhere in the future that Bards can choose to be either regular kitted Bards or multiclass Bards? Best of both worlds?
  13. Hey @subtledoctor, I got a suggestion/remark about Component 122. It says that Rogues can specialise in weapons after lvl 6, but they get an extra point every 4th level. Is there a reason why you choose lvl 6? It delays their specialisation to lvl 8 and forces them to spread their pips ever further. Is the goal to force broader proficiency? If you use Component 123 and you have 3 stars in Spears/Halberds and then select Reckless Attack Posture, you end up with 2.5 APR, correct?
  14. Some more info: Imoen can also use Ankheg Plate Mail. Minsc, when switched to a Fighter (Barbarian & Berserker kit), doesn't get any proficiency points when re-leveling.
  15. Thanks, it looks like it installed just fine now. I'd attach the new Debug file, but it's 570 kb. Mighty kind of you to react this fast! I play almost the exact same way: physical damage and magic is there to buff/dispel.

  17. Minor bug: in BG EE, I made Imoen a Marksman/Mage. Arcane scrolls are red for her, but she can still scribe them just fine.
  18. Yup, played a bit more last night and everything seems to be working as intended. A general question: if a multiclass character has a kit and abilities increase based on level, which level is it? The highest one? Sum of both?
  19. I've managed to open my save file, and I found my character. However, I don't see how I can edit stats and proficincies. I would also like to change the avatar/paperdoll. How do I do this? Thanks in advance!
