Am I impressed with SRv4? Yes, it has really meant that my use of spells has broardend a lot. Much has improved and alone the new animations are magnificient - I love Acid Sheath (sp?) among other stuff.

Two things I've noticed

Regenerating spells stops when you travel or sleep. Is that the intention? I'd think they should run until end of spell. Also I don't know if the AI could cast leftover regen spells on party when sleep or is this just due to them not working in sleep/travel?

That druidic spell (I've forgotten it's name) which gives you paws, the icon is hard to see. I do not need action here, but other might think so. It's really a very minor issue.

It's Argent Shield added by Item Pack. Maybe I've noticed this before - if so sorry about that.

Cut the .itm out of the override directory, problem solved.

Big World folks have been claiming for some time that SCS component 8050 Improved Random Encounters is incompatible with Ding0 Quest Pack component 'Miscellaneous Enhancements'. I've never seen anyone report such is the case in either Quest Pack's or Stratagem's forums.

 

Can anyone confirm whether there's any truth to this?

I vaguely remember David once said SCS was compatible with SimDings QP. David did some work making SCS & QP compatible. That's ages ago however.

I myself have never witnessed incompatabilities between those two specific parts of QP and SCS. That doesn't necessarily mean they are compatible.

Ankhegs are animals therefor imitating leather.

Aren't they allowed to use fragon scale suits and ankegh armours?

Rangers IMO shouldn't wear metal armours.

Regarding Stalkers I find those resrictions AOK, but I follow the point about bows however.
