I can't remember a game where I didn't rely on raise dead. I even play pnp style often in the manner of not using raise dead on elves. I always have two chars with ressurrection/raise dead memorised.

The former can't raise elves, incurs semi-permanent -1 CON penalty. The latter has no such drawback, but perhaps doesn't heal fully.

It wasn't meant in that way. I thought removing XP from summoned creatures came from SCS, now I know it was a wrong assumption.This is largely academic as far as SCS is concerned, for broadly the reason amanasleep gives: SCS isn't really in the business of changing XP levels, period. But someone suggested it was my call, so I thought I might as well answer. -

I'm on the no XP from summoned critters party. But I did find Daulmakan's arguments to make me unsure... Whatever decided (if anything it still is up to DavidW) I feel it will be good enough.

Yeah, buffed they become even more OP, because their innate (not-dispellable) 90% magic resistance make those buffs even more effective (e.g. try countering a group of hasted skeletons with Slow spells...good luck). You know what, I think I'm going to nerf mr to 50%, even if I'm pretty sure it will be unpopular.Please do nerf skellies. I use to buff them, and they are OP in my eyes. -

Hello. I have played with SR for a while and I like that some overpowered spells (Spook, Emotion, Chromatic Orb etc.) were toned down. I just have noticed the new Disintergrate spell.
2-12 damage per level is overpowered for a spell with a save penalty - even original ADHW doesn't inflict so much - especially since Disintergrate can be put into spell trigger.
I notice the 3rd edition version of Disintergrate requires an attack roll; may I suggest either making it a ranged attack like Sol's Searing Orb (or a ranged version of Harm, it still does comparable damage to SR Harm)? Or just reducing the damage a bit.
Either way sounds good to me.
