Icendoan
Oh, Easytutu should't be in the Black Isle folder! It should be in its own, BaldursGateTutu Icen Link to comment
Gibberer
I'll know for sure tonight but I recall SOA still being separate but BG1 merged with EasyTutu per the action I described. I'll have the details tonight! Link to comment
Gibberer
OK, I've got TWO for the bgmain.exe search! C:\ProgramFiles\BaldursGateTutu AND C:\ProgramFiles\BlackIsle\BGII-SOA Progress at last! So I download bg1NPC and then bg1NPC music to one or the other or both? Link to comment
Icendoan
Just the former. (C:/ProgramFiles/BaldursGateTutu) Icen Link to comment
Gibberer
8PM my time and I'm home! NOW we shall see what shall be seen. Was that a suitably dramatic commentary? And...no. BG1NPC does not work. Same message as every other time. Sent to C:\ProgramFiles\BaldursGateTutu which made no difference. Message up top: [C:\ProgramFiles\BaldursGateTutu\setup-bg1npc.exe] WeiDU version 20600 ERROR: Unable to find DIALOG.TLK in: dialog.tlk Please run this program in your Infinity Engine game directory. FATAL ERROR: Failure("Unable to find DIALOG.TLK") Press ENTER to exit. Link to comment
cmorgan
OK, now try this - go to that "search box" stuff I tossed above, and search for setup-bg1npc.exe and tell us where the computer says it resides Link to comment
Gibberer
Apparently in C:\ProgramFiles\BaldursGateTutu there lurks a 484kb application. Sound familiar? Link to comment
Icendoan
LOL! That could be WeiDU. What is it called? Icen Link to comment
Gibberer
Oops, was unclear. The file is called 'setup-bg1npc.exe'. Alas, when I click on it to work I get the same message as above. Link to comment
Icendoan
Ok. You know the start menu? Yeah? Well. BGTuTu ought to be there. If you use Vista, search for "Tutu". Well, find the tutu launcher, RIGHT CLICK, and select "Open File Location". Then, at the top, copy and paste the file address here, and we can instruct you further. If you want to go as far as remote desktop connection, iirc you can do this via MSN, I can help you. Icen Link to comment
Gibberer
C:\ProgramFiles\BaldursGateTutu is there with setup-bg1npc.exe within it. Argh, I'll right click, paste, etc. once I get home around 8PM EST. Thanks again, Icen and cmorgan. Me is dumb, yes, me is. Hours later. No, setup-bg1npc.exe is NOT in C:\ProgramFiles\BaldursGateTutu. Nor is there an option for 'open file location' when I right click on the file folder for BaldersGateTutu. I can 'open' or 'open containing folder'. If I open I have G3bg1npc and bg1npc.tp2 only. setup-bg1npc.exe is no longer found when I search for it. Link to comment
Icendoan
Do you want me to use MSN's remote desktop connection to help you, as it seems the only way of sorting this... Icen Link to comment

As I mentioned to Icen by email I'll be away for a few days soon so I may just set up the remote linky thingie with him in about two weeks. And yes, you heard that right! There is a second aspect of this epic crisis which most of you can not see! Link to comment
