lynx
Create a debug build or the backtraces will be useless like this one. n just needs to have the fix transfered from bg2 and o isn't implemented yet. m I don't understand completely, but it sounds like just a cosmetic issue. San
m. yeah, my explanation does not sound good. Better example: at Beregost, in inn, after resolving problems with mines, we can find Tranzig on second flor. After short talk we are starting fight with him. When his life gets down to about half, he asks for mercy. He explains some stuff and it is possible to let him go. He gets blue cirkle under his feets and i stop attacking (hit pause, and go somewhere - to be sure they does not continue attack). But in a short while he turns red and attacks me. Link to comment
Avenger
Do you know by chance, what is the expected behaviour of Tranzig? Maybe, he should leave? Link to comment
San
Have no idea... San
i found some info in code "HARDCODED!!!" will this ever be done? "Distance = -1" Link to comment
Avenger
distance = -1 means, the target is unreachable, that could be pretty normal in some cases. If we find a bug that made an area unreachable in gemrb while it could be reachable in the original, we'll fix it. Link to comment
San
Hope it will be soon. I stock between two cloackwood areas and did not made save for the long time.. Link to comment
Avenger
The problem is, i don't know where you are, or what is the problem. Make your savefile available for download. That would probably help. My best guess is, you are in ar6001. But i don't know how you got there, or how are you supposed to leave it. (Or how you managed to save game in ar6001). Link to comment

Avenger
Hopefully you backed your game up. That game is now corrupted. It was a buggy condition earlier too, you were not supposed to be able to save in an ambush area. It is easier to move to an area via the debug console. Simply select your whole party and type this in the console: MoveToArea("ar3300") If you want to know all the area codes, here is a useful tool: http://www.forgottenwars.com/bg1/index.htm Meanwhile, now GemRB will indicate that you are ambushed (and you cannot save in the ambush areas anymore). San
Thanks for idea how to move my team. All seems to work but sometimes there is no enemy at ambush areas. p. cannot sell at temple of Helm at Beregost e-san.info/gemrb/888888980-247-helm.zip Link to comment

Aerie
This is in 0.6.6, but the previous discussion seemed relevant. This is for BG1. When in ambush areas, /some/ enemies are not targetable (I have not had this happen in normal areas yet). They tend to be gnolls, but I have also had an untargetable ogrillion. What I mean by 'not targetable' is that when I hover my mouse over them, they show up as places I cannot walk, not things I can attack. Imoen targets and does damage to them every time, and they can do damage to party members. The game allows me to leave an ambush area while ambushers are still alive. However, doing so makes it Not Happy; the map jumps to Baldur's Gate, and if I pick a destination, it brings me somewhere other than where I picked. I imagine some game data would be useful to you. Please let me know what you'd need, and I'll get it for you next time this happens. Without fail, once it happens I've had to restore from a previously saved game, so I don't currently have anything for you. Link to comment
