deratiseur Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Hello I'm still modding, and i need your knowledge another time. Please. I have made a spell which "totally annihilate" the target. The spell work (kill, remove animation, remove selection circle, etc...), but if i use it on a pc, this one still have a grey portrait in the team bar, so he's reasable. I know that in certains situations (big damages, flesh to stone, etc...), the portrait can be kicked out as the pc is kicked out from the team. So, is there a way to force that in a spell ? I want that my spell made the victim totally not resurrectable.
lynx Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 I suggest you use the disintegrate opcode then.
deratiseur Posted December 23, 2011 Author Posted December 23, 2011 Disintegrate let a cadaver, bypassing the "remove animation" and "fade" effects :/
Kish Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 On Normal and Novice difficulty, party members can't be permanently killed except by petrifying them (so that they cease to be party members) and then smashing them. If you want to get around the difficulty setting, the only method I can think of would be a one-two punch: petrification, two-second delay, then disintegration. Bear in mind that existing spells which make the character unresurrectable "by default" intentionally don't do that on Normal or Novice.
Jarno Mikkola Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Actually you just have to make a script that removes the partymember from the group... it's easy to do actually... what I remember.
deratiseur Posted January 1, 2012 Author Posted January 1, 2012 The petrification -> damage or Disintgrate also leave a cadaver :-/ The script is a good idea, i will work on it, thanks.
