Guest Mike Posted November 12, 2021 Share Posted November 12, 2021 On my laptop, there is no 'Allow'-Action available because the threat level is 'schwerwiegend (serious/severe)' (Trojan:Win32/Powbr.A!MTB). I noticed already some time ago, that ProjectInfinity.exe was updating itself to the latest version. That means the program is calling 'home' somehow. This is not documented (at least I did not see it mentioned anywhere). Why is this funky stuff neccesary? I really like this tool and it worked very well for me until now. But this stuff makes me nerveous and uncomfortable... Quote Link to comment

Yeah, I ran into that this morning, the exclusion need to be set up based on the process's name. The calling home part calls PI's GitHub repository. Quote Link to comment
