jastey Posted April 29, 2023 Author Share Posted April 29, 2023 The cpmvars.tpa read in the game specific values, they exist for BG:EE, BGT, and EET. This error was an embarassing copy&paste error on my side ("sodrtd" is Road to Discovery mod). Thanks for reporting! This would lead to an install error on BG_SoD, too, if RtD is not present. I mean, I know I tagged the SoD content as dependent on RtD's tracking system but this is not what I meant.. Version 1.2 is up which should install without problems. The component for crossmod with aTweaks "Allow Mages to scribe memorized spells onto scrolls" after that mod accordingly. Quote Link to comment

I noticed some crossmod files on GitHub but what made me ask about crossmod installation order was in relation to BG1RE since I didn't notice any specific mention about whether BG1RE should go before or after Brandock. What advice do you have regarding allowing this NPC to use the '7th' party member mode in addition to other NPCs that have this mode? Firstoff: everyone is free to snatch any and all scripting and code from any of my mods, but with using your own prefix, not mine. Then there is also no problem with regard to 7th party members (it gets messy if there is more than one anyway, but I played with 2 and it was ok. Grey doesn't really count anyway.) Courtesy is to credit if it was something intelligent. But I don't think this mod is suitable as a template, especially not for a beginner. I don't use the NPC EET Function but do everything by hand, there is many files for all the different dialogues and quest lines, several files that deal with the EET transition for the different possibilities (in party, not in party, dead in party etc). Even I would have to go through the files to be able to tell what does what, and I won't have the time. Plus, Brandock doesn't stay in SoD until the end. EDIT: And the mod also considers BGT, which adds to the file count. Quote Link to comment
