Glittergear
Premise: A mage’s apprentice accidentally give a Candle of Limited Wish to a noble to use at his pet chicken’s birthday party! It’s up to Charname to get the candle back before the candle is used. Who knows what the bird would Wish for, and what havoc the magic would cause? Crash a chicken's birthday party! Stop the Wish of a feathered biped! Get a candle of Limited Wish--use it yourself, or don't! To start the quest, speak to the "Panicking Mage Apprentice" in the Copper Coronent. He is near the stairs leading up to the bedrooms. There are several different ways to crash the party, and two possible endings. See the Walkthrough section in the Readme for more details. Expect about 30-60 minutes of gameplay, and one new area. Any level/group is fine so long as you can survive Pai'Na. Made for BG2EE. I'm not sure if it'd work for other versions (like EET). English-only. This quest contains spiders. Currently has a soft incompatibility with Lava's I Shall Never Forget, because our doors are in the exact same space (I tried placing my door someplace else, but, for whatever reason, my characters would not go through it, even though all I changed were integers.) (Fixed in version 1.2!) If you cannot enter my interior for any reason, open the console and type: C:MoveToArea('GGP001') Anyway, hope you enjoy! This little quest mod for BG2 is my first BG mod ever--and I'm both excited and nervous to share with you! Would love to hear what you think Download it from GitHub See the readme or Nexus documentation section for the changelog v1.3 released on 2/27! Fixed a door issue and bard dialogue, and added journal entries! Edited February 27 by Glittergear New version out Quote Link to comment
subtledoctor
Nice! Congrats! This will go in my next install. Love to see more content still being made for these games. Edited February 20 by subtledoctor Quote Link to comment
megrimlock
Interested to try this and hope the incompatibility can be worked out in due course. Quote Link to comment

Princess Pestilent
Hi Glitter, I'm getting an error attempting to install. Thought it might have been another mod causing an issue, but I get the same thing with a fresh install and no other mods. SETUP-FOWLWISH.DEBUG Quote Link to comment
Glittergear
@Princess Pestilent Sorry about that! I think I found the problem. Try this TP2 file. EDIT: confirmed via discord that this one worked FowlWish.tp2 Edited February 21 by Glittergear Quote Link to comment
Glittergear
@megrimlock -- it should be compatible now! Quote Link to comment
Morgoth
Installed. I will try it. Thanks for the release, don't stop making new stuff!! Welcome to the community. Edited February 21 by Morgoth Quote Link to comment
Morgoth
By the way, I've installed version 1.0 (by error, I was sure it was 1.2). In my setup it installed perfectly. Quote Link to comment
Glittergear
Version 1.3 is out! I've fixed a door error, an issue with bard-specific dialogue not showing up, and added journal entries! Quote Link to comment
deratiseur
question: why did you create the language and english directories if all the texts are in the .d files? I wanted to translate the module into French -> no trayified. Quote Link to comment
Glittergear
@deratiseur the language and english directions weren't in the initial release--they were added when I added journal entries, because that was the only way I could figure out how to add journal entries. How can I make it easier for you to translate? Quote Link to comment
deratiseur
I can traify it if you don't know how to do. Quote Link to comment
