berelinde
If I hit "View New Posts," I get a search flood control error message, regardless of how much time has elapsed since last using a search function. Is something going wrong? Link to comment
CamDawg
I think the host finally updated the server time which may be causing this. I've disabled flood control. Link to comment
Kulyok
I, um, have a request, too. G3 Search doesn't allow me to enter "Xan". Or anything else shorter than four letters. Will this, maybe, probably, some day, be allowed in the future? Link to comment

How 'bout now? edit: I'm not getting any search results for three-letter words; I think it may need to re-index the search now that the settings have been changed. Give it a day or two and see if it actually works. Link to comment
cmorgan
Anything you can do to help beef up the search engine here will be greatly appreciated!!! (I know I can just use FireFox and designate the site - it is so much easier to grab the fields in play, though ) Link to comment
Guest erik
Cam: sounds awfully mysql-ish. You'll need to re-index the table manually, I fear, mysql won't do it for you automatically. Link to comment
Kulyok
I guess it is time out: three days past, Xan is still hiding in the corner, refusing to be, er, searched. In other words, it doesn't seem to be working. Link to comment
