  1. Okay finished my playthrough, finished both SoA and Throne of Bhaal. It didn't take much, because I didn't go for all the content available. I simply skipped what I didn't care about. Finished as a level 24 cleric/9 ranger. I will be sharing the mods I’ve enjoyed the most: ~EPICTHIEVING/EPICTHIEVING.TP2~ #0 #300 // Epic Pickpocketing this mod actually adds a reason to have a pure thief. Being able to pickpocket Ribald is heavenly. ~METWEAKS/METWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #200 // Make quest experience divided among party members this mod makes you forget that by not taking a party member you are not playing optimally. You simply get the xp, and it actually opens up new paths when playing the game. You are not forced anymore to play all the quests, because you have enough xp to not feel behind, nor constricted to play. - ADRIAN. Adrian didn’t bug (if not for the crossmod) and was kinda perfect. He didn’t have many interactions with other npc in my team, given that we were myself, imoen, Kivan (bugged). When I got Jaheira in my team, he started to banter a lot with her and I would say that you should never play without Jaheira in team, when you have Adrian with you. Thank for the tip! - NPC_EE was a lifesaver. I think it’s a great mod. Now, I will be sharing all the issues I've had in bullet points: 1) Nostalgia pack. Would not recommend. It has a change I don't agree with. Basically it will make some mages scrolls (I would bet the one you find in BG1) to have the generic BG1 sprite, and you miss a lot of accessibility by adding such a tweak. 2) Miscellaneous Tweak: Would not recommend. I dislike the new icons for potions of extra healing and super healing. Personally, if I could choose, I would simply use one tweak: - Swap the generic icon for the Silver Dragon Plate with a recolored icon from the Red Dragon Scale that IMO looks a lot better. Recolored the armor to look less metal and more silver dragon, including a pulse glow effect. Enhanced Editions only. 3) When I got the 20k gold, Valen encounter didn’t appear. 0 clue on the why. 4) I bought a Sword of Flame from Ribald. For some strange reason, equipping it makes my armor shine red. Could it be a strange interaction between the mods I’m using? I have very few mods, but I’m still totally clueless about what could be happening. 5) I’ve felt the need of bags of holding, ammo bags, wand case and gem bags. I don’t know if there is any mod adding them, but this time playing with the inventory was hell. And judging by my mod list, I only got a wand case mod. 6) Played with Kivan and I had a couple of annoying bugs. First, Joffi didn’t appear even if the changelog says otherwise. Second, I had dialogues popping up in the wrong place: - I got the the "Praised be Seldarine! Every moment in that vile disguise was a torture" after killing Firkraag, instead of when you are turned back to human after you've finished Adalon's quest. - After entering Merella's house, I'm getting : But he was monstrous! <charname>, you must be truly a fated one to survive this. How do you feel, Dragonslayer? Instead of the dialogue happening, I suppose, after killing Firkraag. 7) Adrian had no crossmod banters with Kivan. My fault, I should probably have used the crossmod banter pack to add them, rather than use the component bundled within Adrian .exe itself. I had only one issue with Wheels of Prophecy. When going into the throne room, Balthazar didn’t appear. I used the following command: CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Balth") and could end the game successfully. 9) Imoen Romance: See here: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/comment/1206606/#Comment_1206606 10) Refinements. For some strange reason, Refinements didn’t acknowledge the HLA that should be given to my cleric. It’s ~RR/SETUP-RR.TP2~ #0 #12 // Shadow Thief Improvements: v4.92 - The ~ATWEAKS/SETUP-ATWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #218 // Regain Bhaalpowers in ToB: v4.53 component seem kinda useless. I have not used them once. I guess it’s a cool component, but it isn’t truly “needed”.
  2. I don't think I've got enough levels and sadly I'm not playing a berserker, but a ranger :P. I think I should probably regret it. The issue if I don't remember wrong is that they use Death spell and are likely to kill your sent in skeletons. But I could remembering wrong I wish to install Item revision, but I would kinda rework many items, because it goes too hard on the nerf-hammer. Thanks for the explanation

  5. Having an issue with my current GOOD ranger/cleric. The HLA table seems botched; There is no divine intervention (good), nor enlightement HLA (prerequisite for divine intervention) I have only divine intervention (evil). I've got (correctly) summon deva evil and summon deva good and can only get the good version.

  7. Very good mod. The only thing that I dislike is that after the spellcasting sounds, you get the BZZZZ or the PIPIPIPI and it's kinda not appropriate (I take they point for a "status" change, like imprisoned?). E.g Irenicus when fighting the cowled wizard in the monastery. But there are other examples, I forgot them (sorry).
  8. okay, as for the appropriate items, I had thought you added some custom one. I was a bit disappointed in the loot for "high level spellcasters". Everything was very low tier; Zallanora doesn't seem even to have an archmage robe.

  10. I'll give you a hint to try something the next time you get to demogorgon. Seal the prison, then get out with Demo help, send the knights to their deaths and go away to adventure for like a week or two. When you come back to watchers keep something funny will happen.   11. I'm playing with SCS and beholders keep casting imprisonment on my ranger/cleric. I have 0 clue on how to counter it. Suggestions? The fact that the spell is supposed to be countered by freedom, and that I should use it every time I fight a single beholder, makes me kinda panic. Anyone has touched imprisonment and made it only temporary? Even for longer time than the other imprisoning spell?
  12. I've installed the crossmod banter pack from Adrian https://github.com/SpellholdStudios/Adrian_NPC but Adrian is not talking at all to Kivan. Would it be a good idea to install this, even when I have the crossmod installed? I Think the worst that could happen is that banters would pop up twice (one for the crossmod content already installed, one from this mod). Am I wrong ? Also I would install it and still load the current playthrough I'm doing. Would that make the banters still pop up, or am I supposed to reinstall ?
  13. So, question: I first had this file in my override and played with it in my current savegame. Then I removed it and reloaded the game and played without it. Now I wish to add it back to my override folder. Will my savegame be nuked due to this ? Or override overwriting is "safe"?

Was checking the following mod: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/81464/mod-heroes-thieves-and-moneylenders-banter-quest-romance-mod-for-bg2/p1 It provides the following component: Component 5. «Unlocked original NPC reactions» (by Tipun & Austin): There were situations in the game when only one of all the NPCs spoke, although the developers provided replicas for each. After installing this component, all NPCs in the party will speak. Question: I was pretty sure that one instance of this was if you turned into . But I have just been in that scene, and everyone talked. So, only one companion speaks there if you have simply a romance? And by the way, does anyone know if that scene is the only instance where the component above is useful?
  19. Thanks. For some strange reason nor kivan nor adrian talk in my game, even if I've installed the crossmod content inside Adrian. I will have to see if there is a way to fire up their banters.
  20. A shame I'm already midplaythrough!! Otherwise I would have installed this. Congrats for the release.
