  1. So you don't get damaged by these spells when wearing these three items?
  2. For anyone wondering, I think this will be my next party (I checked the crossmod banter pack and I wanted to not take the usual "good" party). Me (Ranger/cleric) Imoen (thief/mage) Adrian (Sorcerer) Kivan (Archer) Deheriana (late game - undecided which kit to assign her thanks to the great NPC_EE by SubtleDoctor) Jaheira (maybe) / Sarevok (in ToB) A shame there aren't many npcs that talk with each other on crossmod banter packs. I'm going for Imoen romance so I need to skip the starting quests, and that's the only party that I can do without any issue, it seems, starting out from Irenicus dungeon.
  3. Thanks, I wanted to dodge having Jaheira in my team, then you come in and suggest her I will think about it.
  4. I remember that Rogue rebalancing added a merchant in the second floor of Gaelan's house. Does anyone know which component add that one? The new items component ?
  5. [ascension] INSTALLED WITH WARNINGS: Balthazar can be redeemed [rogue rebalancing] INSTALLED WITH WARNINGS Thief kit revisions INSTALLED WITH WARNINGS Thief High Level Ability revisions Can anyone tell me what's the issue? I would avoid installing these mods next time if these entries are alerting me there is an issue I shouldn't close my eyes to.
  6. Thanks CrevsDaak. I wonder if these are tweaks or bugs, though. Tweaks and Tricks has the following component: Multiple items in BG2 boast to grant the wielder "immunity to all poisons". Unfortunately, none really do. What they do provide is immunity to poison effect - so you can't get poisoned. But certain spells such as Cloudkill apply poison damage directly, and immunity is bypassed. It patches the following items accordingly: Ring of Gaxx Periart of Proof against Poison Protection from Poison scrolls Should such tweaks be considered for fixpack?
  7. Thanks for the extensive reply. So, how are you supposed to work with your party? Do you drop them/do they get frozen in time so romances and all the banters we should have are simply stopped?
  8. In the light of a possible rework/rewrite, would you consider adding the stuff from Throne of Bhaal revisited and integrate it into the mod? This is what the mod does: Characters: Gromnir: You are now given half a chance to reason with him, but it may be difficult to talk him down entirely. (Compatible with Ascension's "Tougher Gromnir.") Melissan: Now she has a magic amulet that protects her from detect alignment spells. Solar & Sarevok: Now the Solar opens the first challenge for you. Why Sarevok should have control of *your* pocket plane I don't know. Yaga Shura: If he sees an advantage to it, Yaga Shura will ask you to kill Gromnir and, when that doesn't break the siege, Captain Samand. (Compatible with Ascension's "Tougher Yaga Shura.") Linearity: Grove of the Ancients: Instead of being randomly teleported, you are led by Ellesime and may have to use your own feet for a change. (Compatible with the Longer Road, Wheels of Prophecy, and Ascension's "Tougher Illasera.") Pocket Plane: With this component it can only take you places you've already been. You first end up in the Tethyr woods outside Suldanessalar. With no more transporting to the middle of Saradush, you'll have to find another way in. Or you can go somewhere else, provided you can get directions there. (Not compatible with Longer Road. Yet.) Fight the Five in Any Order: Right now, this just adjusts the Bioware romances so that if you put off saving Saradush they'll keep going. Places: Oasis: If Saradush hasn't yet fallen you see a more peaceful side to the oasis. (Compatible with Tatics and SimDing0's Questpack) Saradush: Now contains a variety of Bhaalspawn. Saradush Sewers: Changes around the creatures in the sewers from Yaga Shura's minions to more normal underground baddies. You'll also get a deeper understanding of why there are so many shades around. Fire Temple: Moved around the most valuable treasures so that they are more heavily guarded in the inner part of the temple. And there are reports that Chinchilla can talk. Quests: Cleansing the Temple: A priestess of Kelemvor is looking to cleanse the ruined Temple of Bhaal The Witch of the Wealdath: A capricious witch now lives in the Tethyr woods.
  9. This file should be bundled within the latest Wheels and a wheels updated version should be released, so people wouldn't have issue. Hopefully, it won't harm people that only use Wheels of Prophecy but never install Ascension (like me)
  10. My issue with Tipun in IWD is that it would be way more interesting if I could install the npc mod made by Lava and Artisan for it; but currently it's not possible. If I had to play IWD, I would do it via Never Ending Journey by Vlad. A shame he never converted it and this way the mod is currently going to collect dust and be forgotten, when it's a good mod.
  11. You are welcome. Consider using the kitpack by Artisan for a good tracking ability on ranger.
  12. Getting a lot of "installed with warnings". First it was ascension, now it is rogue rebalancing. I provide the debugs, maybe someone can say me that it is harmless. SETUP-ASCENSION.DEBUG SETUP-RR.DEBUG
  13. Get it from here: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/74322/mod-olvyntweaks-version-1-4
  14. I was installing tweaks, until I reached the rule changes. For the bastard sword I selected no and I regretted it; as soon as I was asked to install the next component (Two-Handed Katanas) I closed the dos prompt. Now I checked my weidu, and it has no reference to all the things I've already installed. On top of this, the weidu tells me none of the components are already installed, even if the game has patched everything when I did my "first" install. Can anyone explain me what's going on? Just to be sure I skipped to the rule changes altogether, hoping that I won't miss the "content" that I think I've installed before.
  15. Thanks. I think there is also Faren that has crossmod content bundled within.
  16. Thanks. It's not bad. It will just allow me to have breath and not having to stress on dual classing and having to see getting suggested: - cheesing with scrolls by dropping people - deleting the scrolls learned and memorize them once again - using the basilisk cheese and so on. For anyone wondering, here Argent77 shows how many traps are in game: Edit: I bundled the xpbonus.2da if anyone is interested xpbonus.2da.txt
  17. Thanks Paladin84. Let me understand only one thing - I still need the worldmap even on EE to install this mod ? Also, do you provide banters from the party npcs that react to the event happening, or is it simply a story module ?
  18. Whenever I recruit people in Irenicus Dungeon and drop them right after, I always get the same issue. No one goes to the place they should when you drop them out of the party; so: Minsc in the copper coronet Jaheira in front of the Harper compound Do they die inside the irenicus dungeon if you tell them to leave alone ?
  19. I will ask a provocative question: do you think bg1 sounds are objectively better (for example, there are more sounds for things), or is it due to subjective preference?
  20. Isn't it odd that Adrian npc mod has a crossmod component bundled within the .exe, but the banters are also inside the crossmod for BG2? Shouldn't the crossmod within the Adrian npc mod be removed?
  21. @skellytz, 1) do you use Infinity sounds in bg2 too? If yes, which components? I'm kinda undecided. 2) I'm also undecided about the nostalgia pack by Andreacolombo for BG2 - more importantly, if I should install Restore BG Item Icons & Appearance. 3) Do you have a list anywhere of what is removed by "Undo EE changes"? Remove extra items added to stores and characters that are not part of one of the new NPCs' storyline. This includes extra copies of items that were already there (e.g. Gauntlets of Weapon exprtise), new items added by the Enhanced Editions, and copies of BG2 items (e.g. katanas, wakizashis, ninja-tos.) Restore original stock in the Friendly Arm store.
  22. hey, how hard would it be for you to add support to custom npc mods? For example, I would like to change the Deheriana's class inside Kivan & dehariana.
  23. Thanks. I hope I can install this rule "Spell Revisions rule changing Pro Normal Missiles into Pro All missiles, " alon, without having to install the whole mod.
  24. When I start the game after having installed the remastered spell icons (https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/88266/mod-remastered-spell-icons-v1-0#latest) I get the following error:
