  1. 1) Do you guys know if there is a way in siege of dragonspear to force full spawn, coupled with full AI from the mobs? Because it's very cool when they use the potions of explosions on you and I kinda like the "low-mid" level fighting .. 2) I'm wearing Ring of free action +2 from this mod: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/75981/thalantyr-item-upgrade-bg-ee-eet (It's a merge of Ring of protection +2 and ring of free action). I'm wondering - how is it possible that shambling mound can entangle me?
  2. I'm really curious of the ideas around. I'm playing it and I'm conflicted. I don't find it gamebreaking, but I don't find it that bad as well. I feel like it's a 6, for now, but I've just began chapter 10. I will make a more thoughtful review when I've finished it.
  3. Yes, I'm using Kiel's helm in fact. And I use the "exploit" of selling the goblet while it's near empty to refill it to 15 charges. It's sweet to not have to use 9 hp potions or the clerics non stop.

I have three requests for Siege of Dragonspear, all involving the spectacles: - make them have all the charges needed to bring forth the summonable creatures. - make it so that you don't have to equip them to see the ghosts around - a good idea would be using the line of sight of whole party (And not of the single party member having them in their inventory). - make it so that you don't have to use the ability on the ghosts. Just click on them *Use the spectacles to bring the ghost forth* and done.
  5. Thanks Argent77. Ironically enough, Minsc kept hitting him via critical hit, but still didn't do any damage. A sad ending.
  6. Jmerry, I will have to take a closer look if it happens again. I'm not having the issue currently and the "cursed" status seems to wear off If I sleep. No, StummvonBordwehr, it's not that one. Another question: Sword of ruin +2 is not damaging the displacer beast lord. Is that supposed to happen? edit: I just got cursed while fighting the beast lord. And I realized the reason - the curse is the effect of Durlag's goblet that lasts 12 hours. Jmerry, you are helping me on every topic I have to thank you for that. The only thing I wasn't able to solve with you is me having to install that tweak to have bard song have a bigger range than vanilla.
  7. It's not a curse by Items. I've been fighting salamander now in the bridge in Siege of Dragonspear, and Minsc got cursed. It's unclear to me what the curse is doing. Checking the sheet it doesn't seem like he lost health.

  10. To be tested (SOD): even when I had one of my party members equipped with a ring of infravision, I couldn't reveal the dark spot that happens to be revealed if one of your characters has infravision naturally, or via spell.

Noticed another bug - I don't know if it could be considered a bad interaction between mods that add new bag of holdings (probably I will stop adding Unique containers by Miloch if that's the case) I'm currently using more than one bag of holding; the bug is the following: - if I use one of the bag of holding I own, and then try to open the second one, the second one shows the content of the first one. Only thing I can do to see the content of the second bag is to move the second bag of holding to another character.
  12. Thanks. You are Godlike. I will be posting other Siege of Dragonspear bugs I will be meeting. Jmerry has a mod too with some fixes to party members not having correct experience when joining in BG:EE if you've SoD installed.
  13. Been playing siege of dragonspear. After activating all six menhirs, the bard didn't appear. I was asked the question: " One bard owls, while the second bard babbles ...[...]" After answering with "my guess is anger, insanity, sorrow", the voice answered " not the answer intended, but a proper answer nonetheless". The menhir started to hum, but nothing at all happens. Tried activating the other menhirs to no avail. It's not clear to me if the bard should have appeared as soon as I answered, or if the bug concerns the menhirs.

  15. I don't know how things will be sorted out concerning AI but I have the following thoughts: - generally AI does a very subpar voice compared to original voice-actors. I'm a fan of no voice acting; when it's added to games or mod it should be perfect and I can assure you, we are very far from perfection - unless you are fine with Dagoth Ur not having any inflexion or emotion in his voice when talking to you. - The Ai does an imitation. Should the original voice actor of duke nukem sue Gianni Matragnano for doing Duke nukem's imitation?
  16. 1) I Noticed that the containers can only contain few items in BG. Do you people use Atweaks on BG:EE to expand containers to 999? 2) More than once I charm or dominate people only for them to turn against me because one of my party has attacked him and the attacks hit him right after he got charmed/dominated. Any tweak that prevents a few amount of dmg received after being charmed to automatically turn the charmed npc against your party? 3) I explore an area, move one of my npc out of vision of a certain area for 1 sec, the sec right after I come back to the area and new mobs have spawned. Is there any mod that prevents that? Basically, once the stuff spawns once, there is no more spawning.

You don't need to have any of these mods installed to use the main feature though."" The reference to unmodded makes me think that it is also bugfixing vanilla EE. Wrong?
  18. Yup. Some notes: I dual classed in BG1 from level 9 (300.000 xp) but I almost finished the game. I need to do only Balduran's isle and kill Sarevok, so I doubt I will be able to get 300k xp back. I didn't do most quests; I used the xp values from bg2 for both traps and spells. Still the game was not played optimally (party of five), nor I've done many quests, nor I went into any house to lockpick because I played good. Let's see how boring playing a castrated cleric is.
  19. Ranger level 8 with the highlighted level up button (I can level up to 9 because I have 300.000 xp). I want to dual class to cleric, but the button is black and I can't click it. My current stats are: 18 18 18 19 16 3 do I take it's probably my wisdom too low? Edit: confirmed, needed 17.
  20. I kinda derail your thread (apologize me for this) DavidW, would it be possible to make a real component out of this? I mean that you get the 435 (or is it 485 xp) and the amount of loot you would be getting according to stats and alignment. Evil with high strength and appropriate carisma = the right amount of loot, including the jewels by the couple. Good = only the right amount of loot and xp.

I have a request for this - would it be possible to add an exported file containing what you've chosen with batch mode that the user could copy, so when you reinstall the mod, you simply click the mod .exe, choose the starting option about the language, then an option "is a batch here" appear, so it basically would become simply "read from the batch, install what's in the batch".

  23. @DraikenWeAreI will make a list later. I played this and was able to resurrect Adalon and use her as my slave (note that the related sound effect is the one from Warcraft 2 Death knight buildings). Issue is that you can get the same if you used Olvynchuru's spells (there is a spell to resurrect npc to make them do your bidding) and olvynchuru is synonimous of quality.

Referring to your Hades thing, the issue with Temnix is that when he produces stuff he does things well, but given that he is overly-ambitious he never releases working stuff or simply destroy his own work to the scorn of himself (wasting his own time) and never listen to people like GraionDilach that are trying to be helpful with the same tone he uses towards the community. After reading what I wrote above, I don't recommend you to use this mod. There are mods by Temnix that are complete and should be working, so go for these (they are a few, considering his self-destruction habits).
  25. I always tried that .dll and it didn't work in my game either. Given the lack of CLEAR images showing you how it's supposed to be (not the lack of images), I simply moved from Original to EE because UI is one of the things you have to experience almost non stop in BG. If you ever happen to succeed, please, post your progress and show the world how it's supposed to be.
