  1. No, CreateItem bumps the item in front of the container for TotSC, also.

Ah, you mean for ADD_GAME_NPC the NPCLEVEL.2DA doesn't get applied. Zed Nocear would have to say something to that, I have no idea (I'll give him a note).

Or maybe someone else knowing about ADD_GAME_NPC is still around. I assume the WeiDU-readme doesn't say anything to that?

  2. if your BG1 mod is enforcing that a new game
Not BGQE, where I would have needed this, but I found another workaround.

But are you saying npclevel.2da doesn't work in BG1(TotSC)?
Where do you read that? I think it works fine, and with the NPC creation possibility introduced here it gets applied for the mod NPC, as well.
  3. Yes, that might be a good idea. I will have a look at the triggers, maybe I was plain stupid and added the wrong area check.

EDIT: No, that wasn't the case. Hm, pity, it would have been so easy. I see I check for "!See([ENEMY])" upon activating the dialogue, but not upon triggering. Maybe including the enemy check into the trigger block could prevent the dialogue to fire during combat.

  4. Thank you very much, for your feedback, the kind words and the testing! Glad you liked it.

The last LT should fire the moment the party enters the Undercity. I am surprised it fired so late for you.

Well, simulating "CombatCounter()" isn't easy in BG1, as it seems. I'll see whether it can be improved, somehow.

  5. I think I know what happened: The first one was a flirt, at sunset, that ended with Ajantis' request to look for a resting place. The second dialogue was a lovetalk. Presumably your party was travelling, or by mere coincidence, the two dialogues were triggered one after the other. I integrated a timer, so this won't hopefully happen again.

    Thank you for reporting!

  6. And I'd like to ask: did you fix some things? I noticed key from Iron Mine become sellable, and boots-of-speed works with Spider's Bane...
No, that is not from this mod. All patching the mod does is to script files for variables triggering (area scripts and NPC scripts).

I am still confused: "It is dark" and "looking at the stars" is the same LT imho... Do you mean two separate LTs? Do you remember how the second one started? I will have a look at the LTs myself, but the "stars" one starts with "it is dark", too, so if you are talking about two different LTs I would have to study m yown lovetalks more carefully, as it seems.

  7. Thank you for your suggestions!

Hesquidor: What a coincidence, the "accidentally" falling and the dancing are already integrated (dancing albeit only for the engaged romance yet).

berelinde: "You've got something in your hair" is already impleneted, and I use "you have an eyelash on your cheek" (somehow it always comes down to the same ideas, soesn't it...)

What is the meaning of "Is that your twenty"?

Making Ajantis adorning her with a flower is a nice thought, too.

  8. Thank you, everyone!

Domi: That's awesome! Yes, I would love to include it. May I also use it for Ajantis BGII mod?

Kaeloree: Now that you point me to it, I have to agree that "add-on" might be the better term. I think I called it mini since it's, er, only 2,7 MB big... no idea.

The Ajantis BG1 Expansion Modification is a mod for "vanilla" BG1 (with or without the add-on Tales of the Sword Coast), BG1Tutu v4, EasyTutu, BGT, BG:EE, and EET.

    Language versions available:

    • English
    • French
    • German

I turned this thread into a discussion thread, testing phase is over. Thank you to all betatesters!

    Description:

For original BG1 (with TotSC), the mod adds a friendship track and the BG1NPC project romance for Ajantis. The original BG1NPC project romance was slightly altered to adjust to the restrictions of the BG1 engine, although overall the content stayed the same.

For Tutu, BGT, BG:EE, and EET, the mod adds a friendship track for Ajantis. Contentwise, the friendship mod is meant as an addition to the BG1NPC project, but technically it can be installed and played without the BG1NPC project. For all games that do not end with Sarevok's death, there is new content after his defeat available. For all SoD games, there are new reply options for the SoD romances in case the PC and Ajantis are engaged. If engaged, the PC will receive three letters during SoD from Ajantis.

From v11 on, there is an optional second component if BG1NPC Project is installed on BG:EE or EET to use BeamDog's inventory BAM for Ajantis' family shield (green dragon on golden back, it's beautiful!).

The BG1NPC project can be found at Gibberlings Three.

The custom portraits for Ajantis are now available in a separate portrait pack.

  10. I could have sworn I had a CTD or at least a wrong shown description BAM in BG1:TotSC. If you say it's your experience, I will change that line, though.

EDIT: Tutorial is updated concerning quatering description BAMs in BG1:TotSC (where it is not necessary, only in plain BG1).
