  1. Ascension Irenicus seems to have a broken script. He doesn't use HLAs nor high-level spells apart his initial buff sequence. Likewise, spells he casts have no damage effect.
  2. GrimJim, you a no-reloader? One more bug - Refinements HLA's never get used by caster, at least if "HLAs as innates" option is installed. I don't know if that's linked somehow. They worked in v28. Mages have them memorized, but don't use any of them.
  3. Has anybody witnessed a SCS priest casting Blade Barrier spell in BG2/ToB? Those with HLAs get Globe of Blades, but Blade Barrier doesn't seem to be used.
  4. This kind of looks as a strategy game now . "Total conversion" gets a whole new meaning!
  5. I don't think it's possible for AI to cast spells near you. They have to have a target.
  6. Ha. So it indeed was Ref-specific HLA. Gj. Basically, what should be done is that a level check is added so this affects only those priests above a certain level. (20? I don't know when priests get HLAs). Temporary workaround would I guess be "only specific clerics in BG2 get HLA's, all in ToB do" option.
  7. "Rule changes" that go before SCS: Alter Weapon Proficiency System Make +x/+y Weapons Consistent Un-Nerfed THAC0 Table Alter Mage Spell Progression Table Alter Bard Spell Progression Table Alter Cleric Spell Progression Table Alter Druid Spell and Level Progression Tables Add Save Penalties for Spells Cast by High-Level Casters Remove Delay for Magical Traps (Ardanis/GeN1e) Every other BG2 Tweaks component can be installed in any order; it doesn't matter.
  8. Please do. I've re-installed to see if it's a BGT thing, and now I don't have the bug in my BGT install. I don't get it. Weidu Slapri.cre has two level 5 spells, Mass cure both. No 6th or 7th level spells.
  9. Not on current install. I don't even have Spell Rev now and the bug is there. (fwiw, my first guess was Refinements - SCS uses a specific cleric HLA which gives them extra 6th and 7th slots, so I tought this was working wrongly so it gives this ability to cleric of any level in BG2. It isn't. ) As I said, I can only get in in BGT install. BG2 alone is fine.
  10. Bleh. I've got the same bug again. At least they have Unholy Word now. I cannot reproduce the bug on a BG2-only install, regardless of my mod selection. I've tried with Questpack, w/o Questpack, Refinements, w/o Refinements, on a BG2 only install it works fine. If I use BGT, they get level 6 & 7 spells. Change-log shows nothing new - same as above, only Stratagems. I'm lost here.
  11. There are (at least one) other innates that will crash BG. "Swashbuckling" uses opcode 319 or such, which doesn't exist there.
  12. I've witnessed no Tamah as well.
  13. You can do that, but you must add seperate AC bonus headers (one for slash, one for crush etc.). Ticking 2 or more boxes is crash. This may be the culprit for the ctd then; it was that way in the default D5_Blad1.spl file, 3 boxes checked in one ac bonus header. If that was the case, using this ability is sure CTD. Maybe IWDEE engine (or other EEs) support it, but vanilla game surely doesn't.
  14. You can do that, but you must add seperate AC bonus headers (one for slash, one for crush etc.). Ticking 2 or more boxes is crash.
  15. - smarter general AI - smarter priests - priests cast some short-duration spells instantly to simulate pre-battle casting - potions for NPCs EDIT: Now it seems to work fine. I've checked the files with NI, they appear normal,?
  16. Slapri is 10th level, rethug is 6th (vanilla).
  17. I use "AI detects items slowly" = 0 in ini but it shouldn't matter, instant prebuff (full) and HLA's for everyone (i.e. "not really reccomended") option. Odd - your spell selections seem to work fine. It's really not fun to have FoDs fired at you so quickly.
  18. I know. The problem is that even low-level clerics (see rethug03. level) get some really high-powered stuff. If they get FoD or not is random - I've checked him now, indeed he doesn't have FoD this time. He does have Aerial Servant (6th) and Unholy Word (7th) instead. His script is 2ECL3 - he should I guess get level 3 spells MAX. Also, the priest in Slaver's boat will have same issues (just see their list of memorized spells). I can't vouch for others (there aren't many clerics of low-level in BG2) but these two surely aren't level 14.
  19. It's still there. Just check Stalman's script, you'll see the "warning" sign. As per priests, the cleric in Suna ambush casts it, as do random Hobgoblin shamans.
  20. There seems to be an error with cleric scripts compiling somewhere. Not only do they get FoD, but will never use Blade Barrier spell. This gets compiled, NI reports it as a missing resource: ReallyForceSpellRES("%NPC_BLADE_BARRIER_PREBUFF%",Myself)
  21. It checks for creature race when building scripts. Rakshasa/Lich types don't need to cast Globes of Invlnerability/Mantles and similar stuff since they're immune to spells below level x and can't be harmed by non-magical weapons. Likewise, this feat allows them to throw Fireballs/Skull Trap and similar at you without harming themselves, which isn't something SCS mages do (unless it's fairly safe to do so).
  22. Really? I didn't know they had much in the way of AI. Not for vanilla ofc, but SCS builds specific scripts for enemies with immuniy to spell level (example - they're fairly confident about Fireballs & Skull Traps). Removing the immunity will make them commit Fireball-seppuku.
