Aren't all the BG1 variables in the save as well? Would it be possible to import those variables to be used in BG2? Saved the nymph and killed Ramazith? Ram's brother tracks you down. Things like that. Would open up a zillion new quest opportunities. Link to comment

Easy. well, of course. i'm not ashamed to say it, but i'd rather hand edit a save file than have to play BG again. it was groundbreaking and remarkable but i don't miss it at all. even in pnp, open world campaigns are a PitA to balance and BG forces me to metagame too much to maintain a balance between challenge and boredom.
